पूजा अग्रवाल
पूजा अग्रवाल (Pooja Agrawal) उन लोगों में से नहीं हैं, जो अपनी बेबसी और लाचारी पर रोना रोते हैं। पूजा अग्रवाल ने वर्ष 2012 में अपने तीन अंगों को खोने के बावजूद खुद को इस तरह खड़ा किया कि वे वर्ल्ड क्लास पैराशूटर बनी।
ट्रेन हादसे में खोए 3 अंग
यह बात साल 2012 के दिसंबर महीने की जब पूजा नई दिल्ली स्टेशन पर अपने पति को छोड़ने गईं थी। जहां अत्यधिक भीड़ के कारण वह प्लेटफार्म से रेलवे ट्रैक पर गिर पड़ी, जिससे वे एक ट्रेन की चपेट में आ गई और उनके शरीर का तीन अंग खत्म हो गया। उनका मात्र दाहिना हाथ ही बचा हुआ था।
टूट गई शादी
इस हादसे के बाद उनकी शादी टूट गई और अब उनका लक्ष्य नौकरी हासिल कर आर्थिक स्थिति से मजबूत होना था। उन्होंने हॉस्पिटल में ही बिस्तर पर पड़े-पड़े कंपटीशन की तैयारी प्रारंभ की और डिस्चार्ज होने के बाद भी अपने मेहनत को जारी रखा। वर्ष 2014 में उनकी मेहनत रंग लाई और वह बैंक ऑफ इलाहाबाद में जॉब करने लगी।
मित्र ने कहा खेल में हाथ आजमाओं
अभी तो सफर की शुरुआत हुई थी तब तक 8 माह के उपरांत, उनकी एक मित्र और मेंटर प्रज्ञा ने उन्हें अपना हाथ खेलों में अपनाने के लिए कहा। हालांकि यह बात उन्हें थोड़ी मजाकिया लगी, परंतु जब वह आईएसआईसी गई, तब उन्हें वहां लोगों को देखकर हौसला बढ़ा और दिलचस्पी आई। वहां अधिकतर व्यक्ति ऐसे थे, जो व्हीलचेयर पर बैठ टेबल टेनिस और अन्य खेलों को खेलकर खुश थे।
गिर पड़ी ऑफिस में बेहोश होकर
खेल में उन्होंने टेबल टेनिस को लाइक किया और इसकी अभ्यास करने लगी। आगे उन्होंने पैरा-एथलीट के लिए एक शूटिंग शिविर में भी हिस्सा लिया जो उन्हें काफी अच्छा लगा। वे टेबल टेनिस और शूटिंग दोनों में माहिर हो चुकी थी परंतु जब एक दिन वह अपने बैंक में मूर्छित हो गई तब उन्हें खेल में केवल शूटिंग करने के लिए ही कहा गया।
लाया गोल्ड मेडल
अब वह सिर्फ शूटिंग में लग गई और वर्ष 2016 में प्रथम प्रतियोगिता मिली, जिसमें उन्होंने प्री-नेशनल में हिस्सा लिया। यह बात वर्ष 2016 के 8 नवंबर की है, जब वह देश के लिए दिन गोल्ड मेडल लाईं। हालांकि इस बीच उन्होंने अपने पिता को खो दिया, जिससे वे बहुत दुःखित भी हुईं।
इंटरनेशनल वर्ल्ड कप में हिस्सा
वहीं वर्ष 2017 में उन्होंने संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के अल ऐन में इंटरनेशनल वर्ल्ड कप में व्यक्तिगत रजत हासिल किया। आगे वह विश्व चैंपियन और एशियाई खेलों में पार्टिसिपेट की और क्रोशिया वर्ल्ड कप में कांस्य पदक प्राप्त किया।
सफर अभी और भी है
उनका सफर यहीं खत्म नहीं हुआ है। उन्होंने वर्ष 2021 में पेरु के लीमा में वर्ल्ड कप में दो रजत पदक अपने नाम किया।
बनाया यूट्यूब चैनल
पूजा ने एक यूट्यूब चैनल बनाया है जिसका नाम पूजा अग्रवाल क्रिएशन (Pooja Agarrwal P Creations) है। इस चैनल पर वह एक विकलांग व्यक्ति के तौर पर छोटे काम को करने के लिए हैक पोस्ट किया करती हैं।
