कौन है यह महिला?

अमिता श्रीवास (Amita Srivas) जो छत्तीसगढ़ की एक आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता हैं, उन्होंने पर्वतारोहण में बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल किया है। अमिता जांजगीर-चंपा (Janjgir-Champa) की रहने वाली है। उन्होंने लद्दाख की जांस्कर शृंखला की यू.टी. कांगरी चोटी की मुश्किल चढ़ाई को पूरा किया है। 6 हजार 70 मीटर ऊंची यह चोटी एवरेस्ट अभियान की तैयारी कर रहे पर्वतारोहियों के लिए बेहद महत्वपूर्ण मानी जाती है।

क्या कहती है अमिता?

अमिता का कहना है कि यू.टी. कांगड़ी पर सफलता उनके एवरेस्ट मिशन की शुरुआती तैयारी का एक श्रेणी है। इनके साथ ही इस मिशन में दिल्ली (Delhi), तेलंगना (Telangana), आंध्र प्रदेश (Andhra Pradesh), गुजरात (Gujarat), उत्तर प्रदेश (Uttar Pradesh) और कर्नाटक (Karnataka) राज्यों के 11 सदस्य थे, जिसमें से 2 लोग पहले एवरेस्ट की चढ़ाई भी कर चुके थे।

आपको बता दें कि उनकी टीम ने बेस कैंप से 14 जनवरी को रात 11:00 बजे पर्वत की चोटी पर चढ़ाई शुरू की और 5 दिन बाद 19 जनवरी को वे लोग यू.टी. कांगड़ी के शिखर पर पहुंच गए।

चढ़ाई करते समय मंजर हुआ डरावना

पर्वतारोहियों की टीम चोटी से जब महज 50 मीटर नीचे थे, तभी वहां एवलांच आ गया और बर्फ नीचे गिरने लगी। यह मंजर काफी डरावना था। एवलांच के बारे में उन्होंने केवल पढ़ा और सुना ही था कभी देखा नहीं था। उन्होंने पहली बार एवलांच देखा जिसका अनुभव बता पाना उनके लिए बेहद मुश्किल था।

जैसे ही एवलांच शांत हुआ उन्होंने आगे चढ़ाई करने को सोचा पर आगे बढ़ने का फैसला लेना अत्यंत मुश्किल था। कैसे भी उन्होंने हिम्मत नहीं हारी और अपनी आगे की चढ़ाई शुरू कर दिए।

हिम्मत ने दिलाई सफलता

आपको बता दें कि सभी टीमों ने अपनी हिम्मत और साहस के साथ आगे बढ़ना प्रारंभ किया और 6 हजार 70 मीटर की ऊंचाई तक पहुंच कर ही दम लिया। अमिता का कहना है कि 4 हजार 700 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित उनकी बेस कैंप में तापमान -20 डिग्री सेल्सियस था, जबकि अंतिम चढ़ाई के समय यह तापमान 31.4 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक पहुंच गया था।

किलिमंजारों पर भी लहरा चुकी हैं तिरंगा

पर्वत चोटी पर अमिता की यह चौथी बड़ी चढ़ाई थी। साल 2019 में उन्होंने उत्तरी सिक्किम और पश्चिम सिक्किम के बड़े शिखरों पर चढ़ाई कर चुकी थी। वहीं साल 2021 में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के दिन अमिता ने अफ्रीका महाद्वीप की सबसे ऊंची चोटी माउंट किलिमंजारो (kilimanjaron) पर भी तिरंगा लहराया था। तंजानिया की किलिमंजारो चोटी 5 हजार 895 मीटर ऊंचाई पर है। आपको बता दें कि यहां उन्होंने गढ़बो नवा छत्तीसगढ़ लिखा अथवा प्ले कार्ड भी लहराया था।

क्या है परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति?

अमिता के पिता जैतराम श्रीवास (Jaitram Shrivas) हेयर कटिंग सैलून चलाते हैं अथवा उनकी मां रतियावन श्रीवास (Ratiyavan Srivas) एक हाउस वाइफ (गृहणी) है। इनके परिवार में तीन बहन और दो भाई है। अमिता अपनी प्रारंभिक पढ़ाई चंपा के कन्या उच्चतर माध्यमिक स्कूल से किया है।

इसके बाद एम एम आर पी जी कॉलेज चांपा में एम.कॉम की पढ़ाई पूरी की। वर्ष 2018 में विवेकानंद माउंटेनियरिंग इंस्टीट्यूट, माउंट आबू से रॉक क्लाइंबिंग का प्रशिक्षण लिया। फिलहाल वे चांपा के वार्ड-4 की आंगनबाड़ी मेंकार्यरत है।

अमिता के लिए पर्वतारोहण जैसा महंगा खेल में सर्वाइव करवाना इतना आसान नहीं था। इसके लिए जांजगीर-चांपा जिला प्रशासन ने उनकी काफी मदद की। वही यू.टी. कांगड़ी अभियान के लिए प्रशासन ने ₹80,000 की मदद की थी। अमिता को इससे पहले पर्वतारोहण अभियानों के लिए सीएसआर मद से ₹2,70,000 की मदद मिली थी। फिलहाल इनकी नई सफलता पर भी मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने इन्हें बधाई दिया है।

पर्वतारोहण में कैसे आई रुचि?

अब बात यह आती है कि अमिता को पर्वतारोहण में कैसे दिलचस्पी हुई? तो आपको बता दें कि मार्शल आर्ट में लोहा मनवा चुकी अमिता को छत्तीसगढ़ की एवरेस्ट विजेता राहुल गुप्ता (Rahul Gupta) से पर्वतारोहण जैसे साहसिक खेल की जानकारी प्राप्त हुई थी।

उस वक्त उन्हें थोड़ा सा मन हुआ कि उन्हें भी इस खेल में हिस्सा लेना चाहिए फिर क्या था, इसके लिए उन्होंने विवेकानंद माउंटेनियरिंग इंस्टिट्यूट माउंट आबू से रॉक क्लाइंबिंग का विधिवत प्रशिक्षण लेना प्रारंभ किया। इसके बाद फिलहाल राहुल गुप्ता ही अमिता को प्रशिक्षित कर रहे हैं।

अमिता ने तमाम मुश्किलों के बाद अपनी हिम्मत और हौसले के साथ आखिरकार सफलता हासिल किया और आगे भी उनकी कोशिश जारी है।
