हमारे देश को आजाद हुए कई दशक बीत चुके हैं लेकिन इस आजादी के पीछे देश के हजारों लोगों ने अपनी जान की बाजी लगाकर इसे ब्रिटिश साम्राज्य से मुक्ति दिलाई। हमारे देश के आदरणीय पूर्वजों ने अंग्रेजों द्वारा दिए गए अनेकों प्रकार की यातनाएं सहे, ताकि आनेवाली पीढ़ी को ये सब न सहना पड़े और वे एक आजाद जीवन जी सके।
देश की आजादी के लिए लड़ने वाले लोगों को ब्रिटिश सरकार अपने खिलाफ पाकर उन्हें कई प्रकार की यातनाएं देने के साथ ही जेलों में डाल देती थी। ऐसे में आज हम आपके लिए वर्ष 1910 के दौरान की अंग्रेजों की जेलों को 10 तस्वीरें लेकर आएं हैं जिससे पता चलेगा कि उस समय हमारे देश के कैद लोगों को कैसे रखा जाता था।
1. जेल में पीने के लिए पानी को कुआं से इस तरह से निकालना पड़ता था।
2. उस समय जेल की ड्रेस ऐसी होती थी
3. भोजन प्राप्त करने के लिए बर्तन लिए लाइन में खड़े लोग
4. कैदियों को इस प्रकार दिया जाता था भोजन
5. जेल में हमारे पूर्वजों को इस तरह खाना दिया जाता था।
6. लाइन में बैठकर खाना खाते कैदी
7. अंग्रेज सिपाही की उपस्थिति में करना पड़ता था स्नान
8. जेल में कैमरे को पोज देते सिपाही की तस्वीर
9. अन्ग्रेज अधिकारी से बातचीत के दौरान की फोटो
10. अग्रेजों के जमाने के जेल का दरवाजा
