हम सभी जानते हैं कि शहरों में शुद्ध साग सब्जियों की कितनी किल्लत है। केमिकलयुक्त भोजन हमारे ज़िन्दगी का एक हिस्सा ही बन चुका है। ऐसे में हम आपको एक महिला के बारे में बतायेगें, जो कम जगह में ही कई तरह की सब्जियां उगा रही हैं। उनका नाम है – अपर्णा सुर्वे टैगोर।
कौन हैं अपर्णा-
अपर्णा बंगलोर की रहने वाली हैं और बात इनके पेशे की हो तो ये एक एडुटेक कम्पनी में काम करती हैं। उसमें ये एक रोबोटिक्स और AI इंस्ट्रक्टर हैं। तकनीकी में जितनी आगे हैं उतना ही खूबसूरत रिस्ता उनका कला के साथ भी है। वो एक बेहतरीन कलाकार भी हैं और गार्डनिंग भी बहुत चाव से करती हैं।
मात्र 40 और 19 sq. ft. के जगह का किया सदुपयोग-
आमतौर पर हम गार्डनिंग का नाम आते ही, जगह के उपलब्धता के बारे में चर्चा करने लगते हैं। लेकिन अपर्णा की बालकनी मात्र 40 और 19 sq. ft. की है, उसी जगह में वो अपने सपनों को उड़ान दे रही हैं, पेड़ पौधों के प्रति लगाव को जीवित रख रही हैं। उसमें वो पत्तेदार साग, सब्ज़िया, फूल आदि उगाती हैं।
मेट्रो शहर के फ़िल्टर खान पान से बनाया दूरी-
अपर्णा बताती हैं कि – जैसा हम सभी जानते हैं कि बड़े शहरों में ताज़े फल, सब्ज़ी को ढूंढना कितना मुश्किल है। कभी कभी हफ्ते भर के लिए हम एक साथ खरीद लाते हैं और फ्रीज में रख देते हैं। ये भी ज्यादा पोष्टिक नही रह जाता। फिर उन्होंने सोचा कि क्यों न खुद ही इसको उगाया जाए और अपने परिवार के स्वास्थ्य को सही रखा जाए।
घने इमारतों के बीच गार्डनिंग करना था चुनौतीपूर्ण, लेकिन सफल हुआ प्रयास-
अपर्णा ने बताया कि वहाँ वो अपार्टमेंट्स से घिरे हुए जगह पर रहती हैं, जहां धूप आदि की परेशानी तो होती ही है। लेकिन उन्होंने हाथ आजमाया क्योंकि उन्हें अपने सेहत से खेलवाड़ नही करना था और वो अपने परिवार को भी स्वस्थ रखना चाहती थी।
कई चीज़े उपजाती हैं अपर्णा-
उन्होंने अपने गार्डन में पुदीना, निम्बू, सौंफ, तुलसी, अजवाइन, लेमनग्रास, इसके साथ ही वो पत्तेदार सब्ज़िया जैसे- मेथी, धनिया, पालक उगाती हैं। इसके साथ लहसुन, टमाटर, मिर्च, गेंदे, गुलाब, खरभुज आदि भी उगाती हैं। जब मौसम में बदलाव आता है तो वो मिक्रोग्रीन्स की ओर अपना रुख करती हैं।
लिक्विड बायो एंजाइम बनाती हैं अपर्णा-
उनका मानना है कि ज़मीन पे उगाये गए पौधों को ज्यादा पोषण मिलता है। इसलिए, गमलों में उगाये जाने वाले पौधों के लिए वो प्याज़ के छिलकों और फलों के छिलकों का इस्तेमाल करती हैं। उनका मानना है कि इसके स्प्रे से पौधे खिले रहते हैं और स्वस्थ रहते हैं।
धूप की कमी के कारण, पौधों को कीड़ो से बचाने के लिए वो बाज़ार से पेस्टिसाइड लाती हैं और उनका प्रयोग करती हैं।
खुद तैयार करती हैं जैविक किटनाशक-
जैविक खाद बनाने के किये अपर्णा नीम का तेल और मिर्च पेस्ट का इस्तमाल करती हैं। कभी कभी कीड़ो के कारण उन्हें पौधों को फेकना पड़ता है, लेकिन उन्होंने कभी अपना मनोबल नही टूटने दिया। लगातार प्रयास करती गयी और अन्ततः सफलता हासिल की।
गार्डनिंग से हुई प्रकृति से मुलाकात-
अपर्णा बताती हैं कि गार्डनिंग केवल फलो और सब्जियो तक ही सीमित नही होता, बल्कि आपको प्रकृति के करीब जाने का मौका मिलता है, उसे समझने का मौका मिलता है, वक़्त देने और लेने का मौका मिलता है। आप स्वस्थ भी रखेंगे, सुखी भी और संतुष्ट भी। इसलिए अपर्णा हर एक व्यक्ति को प्रकृति से जुड़ने की सलाह देती हैं।
सोशल मीडिया के जरिए फैला रही हैं जागरूकता-
अपर्णा सोशल मीडिया के जरिये भी लोगो तक पहुचने का प्रयास करती रहती हैं। उन्हें टिप्स देती हैं, जागरूक करने की कोशिश करती हैं। उनका कहना है कि सबसे पहले उनका परिवार इस काम में आगे आया। यहां तक कि उनका बेटा भी पौधों में काफी रुचि रखता है, जो कि सराहनीय है।
तितलियों और चिड़ियों से गुलज़ार रहता है गार्डन-
अपर्णा का गार्डन छोटा तो है, लेकिन इसने कई पक्षियों और तितलियों को आशियाना दे रखा है। हमेशा इसके आस पास आपको चहचहाट सुनने को मिलेगा। ऐसा लगता है कि ये बेजुबान जीव अपने अंदाज में प्यार बरसाते हैं।
