आज हमारा देश कई समस्याओं से जूझ रहा है, जिसमें एक महत्त्वपूर्ण समस्या है घरों की कमी। तेजी से बढ़ती जनसंख्या और उससे कहीं तीव्रता से बढ़ रहे शहरीकरण ने देश में घरों की उपलब्धता की समस्या खड़ी कर दी है। इन सभी समस्याओं के बावजूद हमलोगों ने यह महसूस किया होगा कि अनियमित दिनचर्या तथा आधुनिकरण के कारण लोगों में बिमार होने का खतरा दिन-प्रतिदिन बढ़ते जा रहा है। इन सभी बातों को ध्यान में रखते हुए कुछ लोग प्रकृति से जुड़े रहने तथा ईको फ्रेंडली घर को बढ़ावा देना चाहते हैं।
आज हम बात करेंगे एक ऐसे शख्स की, जिसने प्रकृति से जुड़े रहने के लिए अपने सपनों का ईको फ्रेंडली घर बनाया है।
तो आइए जानते हैं उस शख्स तथा उसके ईको फ्रेंडली घर से जुड़ी सभी जानकारियां-
कौन है वह शख्स?
हम बाबूराज (Baburaj) की बात कर रहे हैं, जो केरल (Kerala) के वायनाड जिले के रहने वाले हैं। वह पेशे से एक शिक्षक हैं। एक शिक्षक होने के साथ हीं साथ वह एक पर्यावरण प्रेमी हैं। प्रकृति के प्रति अपने लगाव के कारण हीं उनको ऐसा एहसास हुआ कि कंक्रीट के घर बिल्कुल सस्टेनेबल नहीं होते हैं।
इको-फ्रेंडली घर की थी चाहत
बाबूराज (Baburaj) हमेशा से हीं एक सस्टेनेबल लाइफ स्टाइल को अपनाने चाहते थे, जिसके लिए उन्होंने ईको फ्रेंडली घर बनाने का प्लान बनाया। वह एक शिक्षक होने के साथ हीं साथ बेंगलुरु Uravu नामक संस्था से भी जुड़े हुए थे। यह संस्था पर्यावरण अनुकूल जीवन शैली बढ़ावा देने के साथ-साथ, बांस से बने घरों और प्रोडक्ट्स पर भी काम करती है। इस संस्था से जुड़े रहने के कारण उनका पर्यावरण तथा प्रकृति से विशेष जुड़ाव हो गया था। वह हमेशा से हीं प्रकृति से जुड़ा रहना चाहते थे, इसीलिए उन्होंने ईको फ्रेंडली घर बनवाने का फैसला लिया।
तालाब के ऊपर बनाया ईको फ्रेंडली घर
एक शिक्षक के रुप में काम कर रहे पर्यावरण प्रेमी बाबूराज (Baburaj) ने ईको फ्रेंडली घर बनवाने के लिए जमीन खरीदी। उन्होंने वर्ष 2007 में अपने दोस्त अनीश की मदद से 3000 वर्ग फूट में ईको फ्रेंडली घर बनाने का काम शुरु किए। वे 3 सालों में अपने सपनों का घर बनाने में कामयाब रहे। खास बात यह है कि उनके ईको फ्रेंडली घर में ज्यादातर बैम्बू का हीं इस्तेमाल हुआ है।
तालाब के ऊपर बना है घर
वर्ष 2007 में जब बाबूराज (Baburaj) ने जब अपने सपनों का घर बनाने के लिए जमीन खरीदा था, तब उन्हें लगा कि यह जमीन खेती के लिए उपजाऊ जमीन है तथा इसमे खेती सही तरीके से हो सकती है। इसलिए उन्होंने उस जमीन से विशेष लाभ लेने को सोचा, जिसके लिए उन्होंने सबसे पहले उस जमीन में तालाब बनाने का सोचा। तालाब खुदवाने के पीछे उनका उद्देश्य मछली पालन करना था। तालाब के निर्माण के बाद उसके ऊपर से ईको फ्रेंडली घर का निर्माण किया गया। इस तालाब में वह तरह-तरह के मछलियों का पालन करते हैं।
जब उन्होंने इस घर को बनाने की शुरुआत की तो कई लोगों को लगा कि तालाब के ऊपर पिरामिड शेप का यह घर ज्यादा टिकेगा नहीं लेकिन आज इस घर की खूबसूरती को देखने के लिए लोग आते हैं। इस घर को बनाने में उन्हे सिर्फ 29 लाख का खर्च आया।
सराहनीय काम की हो रही है प्रशंसा
बहुउद्देश्य सोच के साथ 3000 वर्ग फुट में तलाब के साथ हीं साथ ईको फ्रेंडली घर का निर्माण कराने वाले बाबुराज (Baburaj) की खूब प्रशंसा हो रही है। खास बात यह है कि उनका घर बैम्बू से बना हुआ है और उनके घर में लगे 90 % बैम्बू उनके अपने यहां के हीं थे बाकी 10 % की खरीदारी हुई थी। केरल सरकार ने बाबुराज के इस घर के चलते उनके गांव को ‘बैम्बू हेरिटेज विलेज’ का नाम दिया है। उनके इस अद्भुत घर की सराहना हर जगह हो रही है।
