भारत शुरू से ही एक कृषि प्रधान देश रहा है। यहां से वर्षों पहले भी खाने-पीने की वस्तुएं या कच्ची सामग्री निर्यात की जाती आ रही हैं। लेकिन आजकल निर्यात में शामिल होने जा रहा है “लाल चावल”। भारत में चावल के निर्यात की क्षमता को बढ़ाने के लिए लाल चावल पहली बार संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका भेजा गया।

कहां होती है इस लाल चावल की खेती-

आपको बता दे, लाल चावल असम की ब्रह्मपुत्र घाटी के समीप बिना किसी रासायनिक उर्वरक के उगाया जाता है। इसको अलग-अलग नामों से भी लोग जानते हैं, जैसा कि कुछ लोग इसे बा ओ धान कह कर पुकारते हैं। यह एक असमिया भोजन का बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण अंग माना जाता है।

जो किसान बाढ़ वाले मैदानी इलाकों में रहते हैं उनके लिए है खुशखबरी-

बात यदि पीआईबी की की जाए तो लाल चावल का निर्यात, प्रधान चावल निर्यातक, एलटी फूड्स के द्वारा ही कराया जाता है। इस बार जो लाल चावल अमेरिका भेजा गया, वह अध्यक्ष डॉ एम अंगमुथु ने हरियाणा के सोनीपत से अमेरिका भेजा। जैसे ही इसके निर्यात में वृद्धि होगी वैसे ही ब्रह्मपुत्र के बाढ़ वाले जितने भी मैदानी क्षेत्र हैं, उन किसानों की आय में भी वृद्धि होगी।

किन- किन राज्य में होता है उत्पादन:-

बात यदि लाल चावल के उत्पादन की हो तो आरडीपीएस चावल उद्योग, निर्यातकों और वाणिज्य मंत्रालयों के अधिकारी हरियाणा, तेलंगना, आंध्र प्रदेश, पश्चिम बंगाल, उत्तर प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, उड़ीसा, असम जैसे प्रमुख जगह हैं जहां चावल उत्पादक सबसे उत्तम ढंग से किया जाता है l

कई जगहों पर देखी गई बढ़ोतरी-

2020- 21 के करीब अगर तीन-चार महीनों की बात की जाए तो गैर बासमती चावल के निर्यात में काफी बढ़ोतरी देखी गई है। जहां 2021 में चावल का निर्यात 26,058 करोड रुपए की आमदनी कर रहा है। यही आंकड़ा 2020 में 11543 करोड रुपए था l इस 125% और 115% डॉलर की वृद्धि काफी मायने रखती।

कुरोना में हुई निर्यात में तेजी-

पूरे महामारी में लोगों ने काफी बुरा वक्त देखा। लेकिन चावल के निर्यात में इसी दौरान काफी वृद्धि हुई। जहां कोरोना वायरस खाने -पीने की वस्तुओं की आपूर्ति पूरी नहीं हो रही थी, वही सारे सुरक्षा के उपाय कर कर चावल का निर्यात किया जाता रहा।
