सामान्यतः हम गाँव से शहरों की तरफ आकर्षित होते हैं, क्योंकि हमें वहां सुविधाओं ज्यादा दिखती हैं। लेकिन कुछ ऐसे भी सख्सियत होते हैं जो शहरों के चकाचौंध को छोड़, अपनी मिट्टी में अपना जीवन समर्पित करते हैं। वैसे ही एक कर्मवीर का नाम है:- गोपाल दत्त उप्रेती।

कौन हैं गोपाल-

गोपाल उत्तराखंड के रानीखेत ब्लॉक के बिल्लेख गांव के निवासी हैं। जो दिल्ली में अपना बिल्डिंग कंस्ट्रक्शन के बने बनाये काम को छोड़कर गाँव मे आज जैविक सेवों का उत्पादन कर रहे हैं। गोपाल के पास इस वक़्त पूरे 8 एकड़ की ज़मीन है, जहाँ से आज वो लाखो की कमाई कर रहे हैं। इसके अलावा भी वो 5 एकड़ में अदरक और हल्दी का उत्पादन करते हैं।

गिनीज़ बुक वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड में है नाम दर्ज-

गोपाल ने पूरे 7.1 फिट का धनिया उगाया था जिससे उनका नाम गिनीज़ बुक में दर्ज हुआ। यही नही, उनको उत्तराखंड सरकार ने देवभूमि पुरस्कार और उद्यान पंडित पुरस्कार से भी सम्मानित किया।

यूरोप जाने के बाद मिली सेब की बागवानी की प्रेरणा-

आपको बता दें कि गोपाल ने सिविल इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई की है। एक बार दोस्तो के साथ यूरोप घूमने का प्लान बना, वही इन्हें सेब के खूब सारे बगीचे देखने को मिले। सबसे अच्छी बात उनको ये लगी कि,यूरोप और उत्तराखंड के जलवायु में ज्यादा कुछ अंतर नही था। उन्हें लगा कि क्यों न ये काम अपने गांव में भी किया जाए। बस अब ये बात उनके दिमाग मे घूमने लगी।
उन्हीने इस बागवानी के बारे में गंभीरता से अध्ययन किया, विशेषज्ञों से मिले, सही जानकारी प्राप्त की और फिर अपने घरवालों से इसकी शुरुआत के बारे में बात की। लेकिन घरवालो को ये सही नही लगा। क्योंकि गोपाल की आय अच्छी थी, वो अच्छी जीवन शैली के साथ जी रहा था। लेकिन गोपाल ने ठान लिया था बाद में आगे चलकर घरवाले भी मान गए।
गोपाल ने हर कदम सोच समझकर उठाये। बागवानी शुरू करने से पूर्व वो हालैंड गए। वहाँ के तकनीक को समझा, बारीकियों पे ध्यान दिया। फिर वापस आये।

70 नाली ज़मीन खरीद, शुरू किया सेब की बागवानी

वर्ष 2015 में, उन्होंने 70 नाली ज़मीन को खरीदा, और इसी पर पौधे लगाए गए। शुरू के 3 साल तो किसी तरीके के लाभ के बारे में सोचना बेकार ही था, क्योंकि सेब के पौधों को बड़ा होने मेंतथा फल देने में काम से कम 3 साल तो लग ही जाते हैं। इसमे खास बात ये है कि इनमें पानी की जरूरत ज्यादा नही होती। 3 साल बाद जब फल हुए तो लोगो ने जल्दी जल्दी लिया। कुछ ने तो पहले से ही बुकिंग करा ली थी।

प्रति एकड़ 10 लाख की होती है कमाई-

गोपाल बताते हैं कि इन्हें हर एकड़ से लगभग 10 लाख रुपये की कमाई होती है। और साथ मे 5 एकड़ में हल्दी और अदरक से भी अच्छा लाभ आता है। कमाल की बात ये है कि इन पेड़ों को लंगूर और बंदर नष्ट नही करते। साथ ही गांव में बागवानी के शुरू होने से कई बेरोजगारों को रोजगार मिल गया।

1.5 टन खराब सेब को जैम बना कर बेच डाला-

कहा जाता है ना, की जहा चाह वहा राह। पिछले वर्ष कारीबन 1.5 टन सेब खराब हो गए। गोपाल ने सोचा कि क्यों न इससे जैम बना दे। जैम को भी लोगो ने खूब पसंद किया और अच्छी आय भी हुई।

गोपाल का नया प्लान, हल्दी का प्रोसेसिंग प्लांट बनाना है-

इतनी सफलता हासिल करने के बाद , गोपाल अब हल्दी के प्रोसेसिंग प्लांट पर काम कर रहे हैं। गोपाल का ये दावा है कि उत्तराखंड का सबसे पहला ऑर्गेनिक सर्टिफाइड बगीचा इन्ही का है। और यहां से किसानों को बीज भी उपलब्ध कराया जाता है, उन्हें सही जानकारी भी दी जाती है। गोपाल चाहते हैं कि हर किसान सुव्यवस्थित तरीके से अपने काम को करे।

ट्रेनिंग को मानते हैं सबसे जरूरी-

गोपाल का कहना है कि हर काम प्रोफेशनल ढंग से होनी चाहिए। आपको अपने काम से जुड़े बारीकियों की जानकारी पूरी तरह होनी चाहिए। इसके लिए ट्रेनिंग बहुत आवश्यक है। सही दिशा में किया गया काम आपको एक अलग पहचान दिला सकती है। आप भी आगे बढ़े और समाज को भी आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित करें।
