21वीं सदी में किसान अपने फसलों के बेहतर उत्पादन के किए नवीनतम पद्धति को अपना रहे हैं ताकि वे खेती से सफलता की इबादत लिख सकें।

इसी कड़ी में एक ने नौकरी छोड़कर खेती को गले लगाया। अब वे इससे करोड़ों का मुनाफा कमा रहे हैं। उनका नाम गुलाम मोहम्मद (Gulam Mohammad) है, जो यूपी (UP) से सम्बंध रखते हैं।

हैं काफी प्रसिद्ध किसान

वैसे तो गुलाम मोहम्मद (Gulam Mohammad) की आयु 54 वर्ष है, लेकिन उन्होंने अपने मेहनत के बदौलत अपना नाम प्रसिद्ध किसानों में दर्ज किया है। अपनी खेती से वे हर वर्ष लगभग चार करोड़ से अधिक रुपए कमाने लगे हैं।

की है 7 वीं तक पढ़ाई

साल 1980 के दशक के प्रारंभिक दौर में उनके घर की वित्तीय स्थिति बहुत खराब थी, जिस कारण उन्होंने मात्र 7 वीं कक्षा तक ही शिक्षा संपन्न की और आगे पढ़ाई छोड़ दी।

करते थे खेतों में काम

वे अपने पिता के साथ खेती किया करते थे और अपने खेतों में आलू, टमाटर चावल एवं गेहूं का उत्पादन करते थे। घर में परिवारों के सदस्यों की संख्या अधिक थी, जिस कारण उन्हें बहुत सारी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता था इसलिए उन्होंने नौकरी ढूंढना प्रारंभ कर दिया।

किया क्लर्क का काम

वर्ष 1985 तक उन्होंने नगर पंचायत में क्लर्क के तौर पर कार्य किया। उस वक्त उनकी उम्र 18 वर्ष की थी। इस जॉब से उन्हें प्रतिदिन साढ़े 11 रुपए मिलता था और यह कार्य उन्होंने लगभग 21 वर्षों तक किया। उन्हें इस जॉब से मिल रहे वेतन से सन्तुष्टि नहीं थी, जिस कारण उन्होंने खेती को दोबारा शुरू किया।

शुरू की फलों की खेती और मिली सफलता

अब उन्होंने खेती प्रारंभ की और केले में उन्हें 55 सौ रुपए निवेश कर अपने खेतों में इसे उगाया, जिससे उन्हें 40000 रुपए का लाभ प्राप्त हुआ। केले की खेती से सफलता मिलने के उपरांत उन्होंने अपने 24 एकड़ जमीन में फलों को लगाना प्रारंभ किया। वर्ष 2020 में उन्होंने अपनी खेती से लगभग 85 लाख रुपए कमाए।

है अपना पोल्ट्री फार्म भी

अब वह खेती के साथ-साथ पोल्ट्री फार्म भी चलाते हैं। उन्होंने अपने 1 एकड़ जमीन में कश्मीरी सेब को भी उग आया है, इसके अतिरिक्त और अन्य फसलों को भी अपने खेतों में उगाया है। उन्होंने बताया कि उनका वार्षिक टर्नओवर 4 करोड़ को पार कर चुका है।
