ऐसे तो आज के समय में किसानों का मानना है कि खेती घाटे की सौदा बन गई है, इसमे अब कोई मुनाफा नहीं रहा। लेकिन आज के समय में भी कुछ ऐसे किसान हैं जो कि अपने सूझ-बूझ से खेती में भी अच्छा-खासा पैसा कमा रहे हैं। आज हम बात करेंगें एक ऐसे गांव की, जहाँ लोग वहाँ की पारंपरिक खेती करके अच्छी कमाई कर रहे हैं।
तो आइए जानते हैं उस गांव और वहाँ के खेती से जुड़ी सभी जानकारियां:-
कहां स्थित है वह गांव?
हम बात कर रहे हैं हिमाचल प्रदेश (Himachal Pradesh) के शिमला जिले की चौपाल तहसील के मड़ावग गांव की, जो कि भारत के साथ हीं अन्य देशो में भी सेव की खेती के लिए जाना जाता है। इस गांव की आबादी लगभग 2000 है। गांव के सभी लोग सेब की खेती ही करते हैं। यहां सालाना करीब 7 लाख पेटी सेब का उत्पादन होता है। यह गांव शिमला से 92 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर 7774 फीट की ऊंचाई पर बसा है।
ऐसे होती है बगीचे में सेब की खेती
मड़ावग गांव के लोग लैटेस्ट टेक्नोलॉजी के जरिए सेब की खेती करते हैं। सोशल मीडिया के जरिए यहां के किसान विदेशों से भी जानकारी हासिल करते रहते हैं।
अमीरी के लिए दुनिया में है प्रसिद्ध
हिमाचल प्रदेश के 2000 के आबादी वाला मड़ावग गांव के किसानों ने अपनी मेहनत और लगन से अपने गांव को एशिया का सबसे अमीर गांव बना दिया है। वे लोग अपने मेहनत के बदौलत अच्छे तरीके से सेव की खेती करके अच्छी कमाई कर रहे हैं।
युवाओं ने संभाली बुजुर्गों की विरासत
मड़ावग गांव के बुजुर्गों ने सेब उत्पादन के जो बीज बोए थे, युवाओं ने उसे मेहनत और लगन का खाद-पानी दिया। गांव के प्रगतिशील युवाओं ने सरकारी नौकरी की बजाय सेब उत्पादन में महारत हासिल करने पर ध्यान दिया। बागवानों का कहना है कि इस समय गांव में विदेशी किस्मों के सेब सफलता से उगाए जा रहे हैं। चीन, अमेरिका, न्यूजीलैंड और इटली को टक्कर देने में यहां बागवान सक्षम हैं।
नई तकनीक और इंटरनेट की जानकारी से लैस मड़ावग गांव के युवा अपने बागीचों की देखभाल आधुनिक जरियों से करते हैं। यहां पैदा हुए सेब की देश की बड़ी मंडियों जैसे मुंबई, अहमदाबाद, कोलकाता में भारी मांग है।
दुनियाभर में है सेव की डिमांड
खास बात यह है कि हिमाचल प्रदेश में स्थित इस गांव में बीती सदी के 80 के दशक तक सेब का नामोनिशान तक नहीं था। इस गांव के किसान हीरा सिंह डोगरा पहली बार 1990 में सेब का पौधा लेकर आए थे। उनकी सफलता देखकर धीरे-धीरे पूरा गांव ही सेब का उत्पादन करने लग गया। आज मड़ावग सहित पूरी पंचायत से 12 से 15 लाख बॉक्स सेब हर साल दुनियाभर में जाता है।
अच्छी-खासी है आमदनी
वहाँ राॅयल एपल, रेड गाेल्ड, गेल गाला जैसी कई किस्मों का सेव का उत्पादन की जाती हैं। खास बात यह है कि जहाँ एक तरफ आम किसान खेती को घाटे का सौदा मान कर खेती करने से हिचक रहे हैं वहीं दूसरी ओर इस गांव में सेव की खेती करने वाला प्रत्येक परिवार की आमदानी सालाना 75 लाख के करीब है।
