हमेशा हम ये सुनते है कि कोई काम छोटा या बड़ा नही होता है, बस करने की लगन होनी चाहिए। परन्तु बहुत कम लोग ही ऐसे जो इस विचार पर अमल करते है, बिना किसी की परवाह किये हुए। क्योंकि आज झूठी शान ही लोगो के लिए सबकुछ होती है। परन्तु आज हम आपको एक ऐसे हॉलीवुड अभिनेता के बारे में बताएंगे, जिन्होंने पर्यावरण के बारे में सोच कर एक अनोखी पहल शुरू की है।

मॉर्गन फ्रीमैन का परिचय-

वैसे तो मॉर्गन फ्रीमैन किसी परिचय के मोहताज नही है, आज विश्व भर में लोग इनके बारे में जानते है, करोड़ो को संख्या में इनके प्रशंसक पूरे विश्व भर में। जब फ्रीमैन ने एक रिपोर्ट पढ़ी जिसमे वैज्ञानिकों ने कहा था कि धीरे धीरे मधुमखियों की संख्या में गिरावट आ रही है। जो बहुत हो चिंतन का विषय है। क्योंकि इससे हमारे पर्यावरण को नुकसान होगा।

जब फ्रीमैन को ये पता चला तो उन्होंने पर्यावरण को ध्यान में रखते हुए, उन्होंने मिसिसिपी में मधुमखियों के लिए 124 एकड़ में मधुमखियों का पालन करने के बारे में सोचा।

मधुमखी पालन का शौक-

फ्रीमैन को मधुमखिया पालने का शौक है, ये बात दुनिया को 2014 में जिमी फलांन के टीवी कार्यक्रम में पता चला। फ्रीमैन का कहना है कि जब उन्हें पता चला कि मधुमखियों कालोनियों संसार से खत्म होने की कगार पर है, तो उन्होंने 26 मधुमखी खरीदी और खुद का अभ्यारण्य शुरू किया।

फ्रीमैन का कहना है कि मधुमखियों से इतना लगाव है उनको की, उन्होंने कभी भी मधुमखियों के साथ मधुमखी वाली टोपी नही पहनी है, और उन्हें आज तक किसी मधुमखी ने डंक नही मारा हैं। फ्रीमैन कहते है की बहुत सारे लोगो के साथ मैं भी मधुमखी पालन में अपना योगदान दे रहा हूँ।

मधुमखी को वापस लाने का प्रयास-

फ्रीमैन कहते है कि मधुमखी को वापस लाने के लिए उनके अभयारण में माली फूलो का ध्यान रखते है, जिससे कि मधुमखी फूलो की तरफ आकर्षित हो, फ्रीमैन के अभयारण में करीब 140 मैग्नोलिया के पेड़ है। फ्रीमैन के साथ साथ हॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री स्कार्लेट जोहन्सन और रूसी लेखक टॉलस्टॉय भी मधुमखियों का पालन करते है।
