वैसे तो अम्मा किसी परिचय की मोहताज नही है, आज सब इन्हें जानते है, परन्तु हम आपको बता दे कि अम्मा की उम्र 80 वर्ष की है, और अम्मा तमिलनाडु में रहती है। अम्मा की खास बात ये है की अम्मा इडली बनाती है और मात्र 1 रुपये में मजदूरों को बेचती है, जैसा कि हम सब जानते है कोरोना काल मे सबको बहुत नुकसान हुआ, परन्तु अम्मा ने फिर भी अपनी इडली का मूल्य नही बढ़ाया।

स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाती है अम्मा-

अम्मा कहती है कि कोरोना महामारी खत्म होने के बाद से सारी चीज़ो के मूल्य बढ रहे है परन्तु मैं कोशिश कर रही हु की 1 रुपये में ही इडली बेचू।

अम्मा स्वस्थ जीवनशैली में पक्ष में है और इस उम्र में भी अम्मा सूरज निकल जाने से पहले उठ जाती है। अम्मा ने करीब 30 साल पहले vadivelampalayam में इडली बेचने की शुरुआत की थीं। अम्मा का परिवार बड़ा था इसलिए उन्हें अधिक लोगो के लिए खाना बनाने की आदत थी।

अपना काम स्वयं करती है अम्मा-


उम्र के इस पड़ाव पर भी अम्मा अपने सारे काम खुद करती है, 4 घंटे से भी अधिक समय लगता है अम्मा को इडली का घोल बनाने के लिए। अम्मा हर शाम इडली का बैटर तैयार कर रात भर उसे ख़मीर भरने के लिए छोड़ देती है, और सुबह स्वादिष्ट इडली बना कर मात्र 1 रुपये में बेचती है सबको।

 

अम्मा एक दिन में 1000 से अधिक इडलियां बेचती है, 10 साल पहले अम्मा की इडली की कीमत 50 पैसे थी अब जाके अम्मा ने 1 रुपये इडली का मूल्य बढ़ाया है।
