सिद्धार्थ ने वर्ष 2008 में आईआईएम अहमदाबाद से मैनेजमेंट किया और खेती करने का निश्चय किया परंतु जब उन्होंने फैसला लिया कि वे नौकरी ना करके किसानों के साथ कदम आगे बढ़ाएंगे, तो उनके घर वालों को इससे परेशानी हुई। उनके घर वालों ने उनसे पूछा कि क्या तुम इसके जरिए अपने परिवार का खर्च चला सकते हो एवं जो कर्ज अपनी पढ़ाई के लिया है चुका सकते हो? उन्होंने बताया कि मुझे परिवार की चिंता नहीं परंतु किसानों की चिंता है कि उनका विकास कैसे होगा?

सिद्धार्थ जायसवाल (Siddharth Jaiswal) ने पहली बार साबरमती जेल गुजरात में नेचुरल फार्मिंग के टिप्स को साझा किया। उस वक़्त उन्हें वहां बहुत बार जेल में बुलाकर खेती करने का प्रशिक्षण लिया गया। उन्होंने कई जगह बंजर पड़ी जमीनों पर मल्टी लेयर फार्मिंग के जरिए हरियाली लाई है। अब वहां 6 फसलों की बुआई एक साथ हो रही है।

कैसे करें फर्टिलाइजर का निर्माण?

जो युवा BAU में कृषि क्षेत्र में कुछ करने की इच्छा रखते हैं उन्हें वह प्रेरित करते हैं और स्टार्टअप के आइडियाज देते हैं। वह अपने आसपास के किसानों को भी यह आइडिया देते हैं कि किस तरह से खेती की जाए। वह किसानों को समझाते हैं कि किस तरह मिश्री या गुड़ के साथ गोमूत्र को मिलाकर फर्टिलाइजर का निर्माण कर सकते हैं, जिससे अधिक मात्रा में पैदावार हो। किसान भी इस पद्धति को अपनाकर बहुत खुश हैं और उन्होंने बताया कि आगे चलकर वह इसे बिजनेस के तौर पर तब्दील करने वाले हैं।
