गर्मियों के मौसम में बेल से निकलते हैं फल
बेल का पेड़ 15 से 30 फिट ऊंचे होते हैं और इनमें कांटे भी होते हैं। गर्मियों के मौसम में बेल का पेड़ पूरी तरह फलों से लद जाता है। मई महीने में इस पर नए फूल आते हैं, जो हरी आभा लिए सफेद रंग के होते हैं। इसके फल 05 से 17 सेंटीमीटर व्यास का होता है। फल पकने के बाद इसका रंग बदलता है और यह सुनहरे पीले रंग का हो जाता है और उसमें से मीठा रेशेदार सुगंधित गूदा निकलता है।
