कहते है न, जीवन एक संघर्ष है और जहां संघर्ष होता है, वहां सफलता और असफलता का दौर तो चलता ही रहता है लेकिन वास्तव में सफल वही माना जाता है, जो जीवन रूपी इस संघर्ष में अपनी असफलताओं को स्वीकार तो करें लेकिन उससे हताश ना हो! आज हम बात करेंगे, एक ऐसे ही इंसान की जिन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई अनाथालय में पूरी की, टोकरियाँ बेची, चपरासी का काम किया फिर अपने मेहनत के बदौलत IAS अधिकारी बन देश मे अपनी एक अलग पहचान स्थापित की।

हम बात कर रहे है, केरल (Kerala) के रहने वाले मल्लपुरम जिले के एक छोटे से गांव एडवान्नाप्पारा के निवासी आईएएस मोहम्मद अली शिहाब (IAS Muhammad Ali Shihab) की, जिनका बचपन विपरीत परिस्थितियों में गुजरा। घर की आर्थिक स्थिति सही नही होने के कारण छोटी सी उम्र में ही पिता के साथ बांस की टोकरियाँ बेचना पड़ा। किसी प्रकार घर का खर्च निकल ही रहा था, तभी 1991 में बीमारी के कारण इनके पिता का देहांत हो गया। उस समय मानो तो इनके सिर पर मुसीबतों का पहाड़ टूट गया। पिता के नही रहने के कारण घर की सारी जिम्मेदारियां शिहाब के कंधे पर आ गई।

पिता के मृत्यु के बाद घर का खर्च निकालना भी मुश्किल हो रहा था। आईएएस शिहाब (IAS Muhammad Ali Shihab) की माता भी उतनी पढ़ी-लिखी नही थी जिससे उनको कोई नौकरी मिल सके। अपने बेटे का पेट पालने के लिए इनकी माँ ने इनको अनाथालय भेज दिया। अनाथालय में रहने के दौरान ही शिहाब का ध्यान पढ़ाई के तरफ आकर्षित हुआ। ―Success Story of IAS Muhammad Ali Shihab.

अनाथालय में रहते हुए पूरी की अपनी पढ़ाई

 

आपको बता दें कि, शिहाब (IAS Muhammad Ali Shihab)अनाथालय में 10 साल तक रहे, और इसी में रहने दौरान अनाथ बच्चों के साथ अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी की। वह पढ़ने में भी काफी होशियार थे। यह अनाथालय उनके लिए किसी स्वर्ग से कम नही था। हायर एजुकेशन के लिए इनके पास पैसे नही थे, तब इन्होंने चपरासी की नौकरी की तथा इसी दौरान सरकारी एजेंसी की परीक्षा की तैयारी शुरू कर दी। आपको बता दें कि, अपने लगन और मेहनत के बदौलत शिहाब ने 21 सरकारी परीक्षाओं को पास किया। उसके बाद वह कई सरकारी पदों पर तैनात भी हुए, जिसमे वन विभाग, जेल वार्डन और रेलवे टिकट परीक्षक जैसे पद शामिल है। सरकारी नौकरी करने के दौरान ही उनके मन मे IAS बनने की ललक पैदा हुई, जिसके बाद उन्होंने UPSC की परीक्षा की तैयारी करनी शुरू कर दी। ―Success Story of IAS Muhammad Ali Shihab.

तीसरे प्रयास में मिली UPSC की परीक्षा में सफलता

 

शिहाब ( IAS Muhammad Ali Shihab) महज 25 साल की उम्र में UPSC की परीक्षा में शामिल हुए लेकिन पहले और दूसरे प्रयास में उन्हें सफलता नही मिली। फिर भी उन्होंने हार नही माना बल्कि अपनी कोशिशें बरकरार रखी। अंततः अपनी मेहनत और हौसलें के बदौलत वर्ष 2011 में तीसरे प्रयास में उन्होंने कामयाबी हासिल कर ही ली। जिसमे उन्होंने 226वां रैंक हासिल किया। आपको बता दें कि, हिंदी मीडियम से पढ़ाई करने के कारण उनकी अंग्रेजी काफी कमजोर थी, जिसके कारण उन्हें इंटरव्यू के दौरान ट्रांसलेटर की जरूरत पड़ी। इंटरव्यू में सफलता मिलने के बाद उन्होंने IAS अफसर बन समाज मे एक मिसाल पेश की है। ―Success Story of IAS Muhammad Ali Shihab.
