कहते है न, विपरीत परिस्थितियों में भी जिनके हौसले बुलंद होते हैं सफलता उनकी कदम जरूर चूमती है। आज हम बात करेंगे, एक ऐसे शख्स की, जिन्होंने मुसीबत हालातों में भी हार नहीं मानते हुए अपनी पढ़ाई को जारी रखा और आज अपनी मेहनत और लगन के बदौलत यूपीएससी की परीक्षा में 551वीं रैंक हासिल अपने परिवार का नाम रोशन किया तथा युवाओं में एक मिसाल पेश की है।
कौन हैं वह शख्स?
हम बात कर रहे हैं, राजस्थान (Rajasthan) में नागौर के रहने वाले पवन कुमार कुमावत (IAS Pawan Kumar Kumawat) की, जो बेहत हीं गरीब परिवार से ताल्लुक रखते हैं। इसके पिता रामेश्वर लाल पेशे से ट्रक ड्राइवर थे, जिन्हे महीने में महज 4 हजार का पगार मिलता था। इस पैसे से घर का खर्च तथा बेटों की पढ़ाई का खर्च उठाना बेहद हीं मुश्किल था लेकिन इनके पिता ने कभी भी अपने बेटों की पढ़ाई में कोई कमी नहीं होने दी साथ हीं पवन को हमेशा पढ़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।

पिता ने गरीबी हालात में भी किया बेटे को पढ़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित
महज 4 हजार की पगार पाने वाले पिता ने हमेशा पवन (IAS Pawan Kumar Kumawat) को अच्छे से पढ़ाई करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। नागौर आने से पहले इनका पूरा परिवार सोमणा में एक झोपड़ी में रहकर अपना जीवन काटा करता था। इस दौरान इनके पिता मिट्टी का बर्तन बनाकर घर के खर्च को चलाया करते थे। फिर वर्ष 2003 में इनका पूरा परिवार नागौर आ गया और इनके पिता ट्रक चलाने लगे।
बता दें कि, नागौर में जिस घर में इनका परिवार रहा करता था वहां पर लाइट के कनेक्शन तक नहीं थे। पढ़ाई करने के लिए पवन को बहुत मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ता था। पढ़ाई के लिए वे कभी पड़ोसियों से लाइट का कनेक्शन लेते थे तो कभी लालटेन की रोशनी में अपनी पढ़ाई किया करते थे।
कहां से पूरी की शिक्षा?
पवन ने वर्ष 2003 में नागौर के केंद्रीय विद्यालय से 74.33 प्रतिशत अंक के साथ अपनी हाईस्कूल की परीक्षा पास की और यहीं से हीं इंटरमीडिएट की परीक्षा 79.92 प्रतिशत के साथ उत्तीर्ण किया। इसके बाद उन्होंने जयपुर के एक कॉलेज से बीडीएस की डिग्री हासिल की।
बेटे को पढ़ाने के लिए पिता ने लिया कर्ज
घर के आर्थिक तंगी में भी पवन के पिता ने इन्हे पढ़ाई के लिए बहुत प्रोत्साहित किया। इतना तक कि बेटे के कोचिंग के फीस को भरने के लिए उन्हे कर्ज तक लेना पड़ा था। बाद में कर्ज देने वाले ने इन्हे खूब परेशान भी किया था। पिता के इन हालातों को देखकर पवन ने ठान लिया था कि उन्हे यूपीएससी में सफलता कैसे भी प्राप्त करनी है, इसके लिए चाहे कितनी भी मेहनत क्यूं ना करनी पड़े।

कैसे आया आईएएस बनने का ख्याल?
पवन ने बताया कि, एक समय उन्होंने एक न्यूज पेपर के हेडलाइन में पढ़ा था कि, रिक्शा वाला का बेटा बना आईएएस। इस हेडलाइन ने उन्हे इतना प्रेरित किया कि उन्होंने उसी दिन फैसला कर लिया कि उन्हे भी आईएएस बनना है। हालांकि इस दौरान उन्हे यह नहीं पता था कि आईएएस क्या होता है? इसे कैसे बना जाता है? लेकिन जब वे कॉलेज जाने लगे तो उन्होंने इसकी जानकारी जुटानी शुरू कर दी और यूपीएससी की तैयारी भी करनी शुरू कर दी।
दो बार असफलता मिलने के बाद प्राप्त किया 551वीं रैंक
पवन ने बहुत मेहनत और लगन से यूपीएससी की तैयारी पूरी कर UPSC एग्जाम में शामिल हुए लेकिन दो बार उन्हे असफलता हीं हाथ लगी। इसके बाद भी पवन ने कोशिश करना नहीं छोड़ा और अपने प्रयास को जारी रखा। उसके बाद उन्होंने 551वीं रैंक के साथ सफलता प्राप्त की और 2018 में उनका RAS में सिलेक्शन हो गया। वर्तमान समय में में वे बाड़मेर जिला उद्योग केंद्र में निदेशक के पद पर तैनात हैं।
