हम अक्सर जब आपस में एक दूसरे से बात करते है किसी भी समस्या को ठीक करने की चाहे वो समस्या पर्यावरण की हो या देश के बारे में तो ज्यादातर लोगों की यही राय होती है कि कोई अकेला व्यक्ति कैसे किसी चीज़ को ठीक कर सकता है, और इसी सोच के कारण वो समस्या कभी खत्म ही नही होती है, परन्तु बहुत सारे व्यक्ति ऐसे भी होते है जो अकेले अपने दम पर सबकुछ बदलने की हिम्मत रखते है अपने दृढ़ निश्चय और लगातार कड़ी मेहनत और प्रयासों से, आइए आज ऐसी ही शख्सियत से आपको परिचित करवाते है, जिनके बारे में जानकर आपका ये भ्रम खत्म हो जाएगा कि अकेला व्यक्ति कुछ नही कर सकता है।

जादव मोलाई पायगे का परिचय-

जादव असम के रहने वाले है,उनकी आयु 55 वर्ष की है जादव मिसिंग जनजाति से संबंध रखते है, जादव जी ने अपने दृढ़ निश्चय से कीचड़ से भरे जगह को हरे भरे जंगल मे तबदील कर दिया है। जादव को अपने छुटकपन से ही पर्यावरण और पशु-पक्षियों से बहुत लगाव रहा है, जैसा कि हम सब जानते है कि 1979 में असम में बहुत भयावह बाढ़ आई थी जिसके कारण वहां के दिवप के पास को सारी जमीन कीचड़ से लबालब हो गयी थी, परन्तु जादव जी के करी मेहनत का ही नतीजा है ये की आज वहां हरा-भरा जंगल है।

जीवो के प्रति प्रेम ने दिखाया उन्हें ये रास्ता-

जब जादव 10वी क्लास में पढ़ रहे थे तब उनके वापस आने का रास्ता ब्रह्मपुत्र नदी पर स्थित अरुणा दिव्प था, एक दिन उन्होंने देखा कि ब्रह्मपुत्र नदी के बंजर टापू पर बहुत सारे साँप मरे हुए है, क्योंकि उस टापू पर कोई पेड़ नही था तो साँप जाते कहा, इस दृश्य का जादव जी के मन पर बहुत दुखी प्रभाव पड़ा। जब उन्होने अपने घर मे सबसे इसका कारण पूछा तो सबका यही उत्तर था कि इसकी वजह वहां पेड़ का नही होना है।

 

इस घटना से जादव बहुत आहत हुए और सबको चेताया कि एक दिन पेड़ नही होने के कारण साँप की जगह मनुष्य मरे परे होंगे, उस समय लोगो ने उनकी बात हँसी में उड़ा दी परन्तु, जादव अपना मन बना चुके थे कि वो इस कीचड़ भरे जमीन को हरा-भरा कर के ही रहेंगे।

बांस के पौधों से किया शुभारंभ-

जादव ने पहले गांव वालों से पौधा लगाने के बारे में बात की गांव वालों को उनकी सलाह अच्छी लगी इसलिए गांव वालों ने उन्हें 25 बांस के पौधे और 50 बीज दिए पौधरोपण करने के लिए। उसके बाद जादव ने कीचड़ भरे जमीन पर पौधा रोपण किया और दिनरात अपने पौधों की देखभाल की।

 

परेशानियों का डट के किया सामना-

जादव ने पौधे तो लगा दिया परन्तु अकेले सारे पौधों को पानी देने में उन्हें बहुत परेशानी होती थी, इसलिए उन्होंने एक तरकीब सोची।जादव जी ने प्रत्येक पौधे के ऊपर बांस की तख्ती रखी और उसपे मिट्टि का घड़ा रख के उसमें छेद कर दिया ताकि धीरे धीरे पौधों को पानी पहुँचता रहे और उन्हें कम परेशानी हो। इस तरकीब से 8 दिन तक घरे के पानी से पौधों को पानी मिलता रहता है, पूरे 30 साल जादव जी ने ऐसे ही पौधों को पानी दिया है और हरा- भरा जंगल तैयार कर दिया है। आज कीचड़ वाली जगह हरे-भरे जंगल मे परिवर्तित हो गयी है ये जादव जी के करी प्रयासों और मेहनत का ही नतीजा है।

 

कई पुरस्कार से सम्मानित है जादव जी-

30 वर्ष मेहनत करके जो जादव पायेंगे ने जंगल उगाया है वो न्यूयॉर्क के सेंट्रल पार्क से भी अधिक बड़ा है, इस जंगल मे कई प्रकार के पेड़-पौधे और जीव जंतु, पशु-पक्षी भी रहते है। जादव जी के उगाए इस जंगल का नाम भी उन्ही के नाम पर “मोलाई फारेस्ट” रखा गया है। जादव जी को जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्विद्यालय के द्वारा इस नेक काम के लिए सम्मनित किया गया है, इसके साथ ही साथ इंडियन इंस्टीटूट और फारेस्ट मैनेजमेंट द्वारा भी सम्मानित किया गया है। साथ ही साथ जादव जी को भारत का सबसे उच्च नागरिक सम्मान पद्म श्री से भी डॉ. कलाम ने सम्मानित किया है।

जादव जी के प्रयास से कीचड़ भरे जमीन पर आज हरा- भरा जंगल है जिसमे ना जाने कितने बेजुबानो का घर आश्रय है।
