काम ही जब हमारी पहचान बन जाये तो और कैसी उपलब्धि किसी को चाहिए। आज हम मध्य प्रदेश की ऐसी ही महिला के बारे में पढ़ेंगे, जिन्होंने टेरेस गार्डेनिंग कर के अपनी पहचान बनाई और लोग कब उन्हें गार्डन ऐक्सपर्ट के रूप में ही जानते हैं। उनका नाम है- ज्योति ।
कौन हैं ज्योति-
ज्योति मध्य प्रदेश की रहने वाली 53 वर्षिय महिला हैं, जिन्हें लोग टेरेस गार्डन का विशेषज्ञ मानते हैं। ज्योति ने सोशियोलॉजी में मास्टर्स किया है। शादी के पहले वो इंदौर रहती थी लेकिन शादी के बाद विदिशा चली आई। घर गृहस्ती में दिन गुज़र जाता था। लेकिन जैसे जैसे बच्चे बड़े हुए और सब बाहर जाने लगे तो ज्योति के अंदर ख़ालीपन आने लगा
ज्योति बताती हैं कि 10 साल पहले तक आस पास घर मे , बहुत से लोग थे, बच्चे आस पास घूमते रहते थे लेकिन अब घर खाली हो चुका और ज्योति के पास दिनभर करने के लिए कुछ भी नहीं होता है।
शुरू की एक नई जिंदगी-
ज्योति बताती है कि बचपन मे उनके पिता को जो भी क्वाटर मिलता था उसके खाली जगह पे गमले लगाए जाते थे। ज्योति को बचपन से कही न कही पौधों से बहुत लगाव रहा है।
बस फिर क्या था, ज्योति ने कुछ बांस के स्टैंड मंगवाए, कुछ पुराने डिब्बो को लाया और शुरू कर दी गार्डनिंग। अपने शौक को उन्होंने अब एक नई दिशा देने की ठान ली थी।
10 सालों से उगा रही सब्ज़ियां और खुद करती हैं देखभाल-
दस वर्षों में शायद ही ज्योति ने बाहर से कोई सब्जी खरीदी होगी। वो सबकुछ स्वयं ही उगाती हैं। पौधों के लिए स्प्रे, बीज , खाद सबकुछ खुद ही तैयार करती हैं। पूरे साल की बात करे तो वो 20 से ज्यादा सब्ज़ियों को अपने टेरेस पर उगाती हैं और यही नहीं, कई प्रकार के खूबसूरत फूल भी आपको देखने को मिलेंगे। इनमे सबसे कीमती है आर्किड के फूल।
सब्ज़ियों में, भिंडी, बैंगन, लौकी, गोभी, मिर्च, टमाटर आदि का उत्पादन होता है।
अलग-अलग प्रकार के पौधों को भी लगाती हैं ज्योति-
अलग की बात करे तो ज्योति ने टेरेस पे ही स्ट्राबेरी भी उपजाया है, और ये हैंगिंग स्टाइल में लगा हुआ है। उन्हें ऐसे ये बहुत खूबसूरत लगता है।उन्होंने अपने दीवारों को भी अच्छे ढंग से सजाया है। उनका मानना है कि इंसान को आर्टिस्टिक होना चाहिए, नई नई चीजों को सीखते रहना चाहिए और अपने जीवन मे लाते रहना चाहिए।
300 से भी ज्यादा ग्रो बैग और गमले हैं-
सबसे पहले ज्योति ने फूलो से गार्डनिंग की शुरूआत की। वो हमेशा अखबार, मैगज़ीन्स पढ़ते रहती हैं जिससे उनको जानने को मिला कि आजकल केमिकल्स वाली चीज़े हम बहुत खा रहे हैं। फल और सब्जी की शुद्धता जैसे कि खत्म ही होती जा रही है।इसलिए उन्होंने सोचा कि क्यों ना वो खुद ही इन सबको उगाये। आज उनके पास 300 गमले हैं और उनमें वो आपने जरूरत की चीज़ों को उगाती हैं।
खुद ही खाद तैयार करती हैं-
ज्योति किचन के सारे गीले कचरे का इस्तेमाल खाद बनाने के लिए करती हैं। वो कहती हैं कि जैविक चीज़े उगाना बहुत आसान है, और हमे केमिकल्स से दूरी जरूर बनाना चाहिए। किचन के कचरो के अलावा वो गौ मूत्र का भी इस्तेमाल करती है।
PNB और रेडियो प्रोग्राम्स से भी जुड़ी-
एक बार एक स्टॉल में ज्योति अपने तरह तरह के गुलाब और सब्जियो के साथ पहुची, वहां PNB के मैनेजर भी आये थे और ज्योति के काम से बहुत प्रभावित भी हुए। बाद में ज्योति ने उन्हें सरल तरीका बताया कि कैसे पौधों की देखभाल की जा सकती है।
ज्योति बहुत से लोगो को जागरूक भी करती हैं।
बैंक से जुड़ कर वो ग्रामीण महिलाओं तक पहुचती हैं, उन्हें सीख देती नहीं, अपने गुण को दूसरों में देखना चाहती हैं। साथ ही आकाशवाणी में भी काम किया और अबतक 450 से भी ज्यादा लोगो को ट्रेनिंग दे चुकी हैं।
बहुत से लोगों को किया प्रेरित-
अपने इस काम से ज्योति ने अलग पहचान बना ली है। उनके परोसी उनसे प्रेरणा लेकर आगे बढ़ते हैं। ज्योति बहुत से लोगों को बीज भी दे देती हैं। वो चाहती हैं कि हम सब स्वस्थ रहे, शुद्ध भोजन करे और अपने हुनर को पहचान के एक अलग छवि बनाये।
