हम जब भी कही जाते है तो सड़क किनारे हमे कई पत्थर दिखते है, जिनका जगह-जगह पर रंग भी बदलता है, बहुत से लोग इस बारे ने जानते है कि ऐसा क्यों होता है परन्तु बहुत लोग ऐसे भी है जिन्हें पत्थरो के बदलते रंग के बारे नही पता है, आज हम आपको बताएंगे कि इन बदलते रंग के पत्थरों का क्या मतलब होता है।

क्या कहते है इन पत्थरों को-

सबसे पहले आप ये जान लीजिए कि सड़क किनारे के इन पत्थरों को माइलस्टोन (Milestone) कहते है, आपको बता दे कि अलग-अलग रंग के माइलस्टोन का अलग मतलब होता है, आपको अधिकतर माइलस्टोन पीले, हरे, काले, सफेद, नीले तथा नारंगी रंग के देखने को मिलेंगे।

पीले रंग के माइलस्टोन का मतलब-

जब भी हम कही जाते है तो हमे सड़क किनारे पीले रंग का माइलस्टोन देखने को मिलता है परन्तु ये पीले रंग का ही क्यों होता है इस पर बहुत कम लोग ध्यान देते है, आज हम आपको बताएंगे इन पीले माइलस्टोन का मतलब। अगर आपको सड़क किनारे पीले रंग का माइलस्टोन मिलता है तो इसका मतलब है कि आप नेशनल हाईवे पर यात्रा कर रहे है, इसका तात्पर्य ये है कि अगर इस सड़क पर कोई भी परेशानी हुई तो इसके जिमेवार नेशनल हाइवे ऑथोरिटी ऑफ इंडिया है इसका मतलब ये है कि सीधे तौर पर केंद्र सरकार इसके लिए जिम्मेदार है।

हरे रंग का माइलस्टोन-

अगर आपको यात्रा करते समय सड़क किनारे हरे रंग का माइलस्टोन दिख जाए तो इसका मतलब ये है कि आप स्टेट हाईवे पर यात्रा कर रहे है, और अगर इस सड़क पर कोई भी पेरशानी होती है जैसे सड़क का खराब होना तो इसका जिमेवार राज्य सरकार है।

नीला, काला या सफेद रंग का माइलस्टोन-

अगर सफर के दौरान आपको सड़क किनारे नीला, काला या सफेद रंग का माइलस्टोन दिखे तो इसका मतलब ये है कि आप किसी बड़े शहर के करीब है, इसके साथ ही ये सड़क किसी जिले के तहत आती है इस बात का भी आपको पता होना चाहिए, आपको बता दे कि इन सड़कों का निर्माण लोकल प्रशासन करता है अगर आपको इन सड़कों पर किसी भी तरह के गड्ढे मिलते है तो इसके जिमेवार जिला प्रशासन है।

नारंगी रंग का माइलस्टोन-

किसी सफर के दौरान अगर आपको सड़क किनारे नारंगी रंग का माइलस्टोन दिख जाए तो आप समझ लीजिए कि आप किसी गांव की तरफ जा रहे है, इसके साथ ही इसका मतलब ये है कि ये सड़क प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना के तहत बनाई गई है, आपको बता दे कि इस तरह की सड़कें गांव से शहर को जोड़ने के लिए बनाई जाती है।
