भारत में अनगिनत महल और किले हैं। यहां हर राज्य के महलों और किलों की अपनी एक खास कहानी है। माना जाता है कि यह महल और किले प्राचीन कला की धरोहर है। आज हम ऐसे ही कुछ किलो की बात करेंगे जो बेहद खास और पुरानी है। अगर आपको पुरानी कला देखने का शौक हैं, तो इन शानदार महलों और किलों को देखने जरूर जाना चाहिए।
मेहरानगढ़ किला (Mehrangarh Fort), राजस्थान (Rajasthan)
500 साल से भी ज्यादा पुराना मेहरानगढ़ किला राजस्थान के जोधपुर शहर में है। यह सबसे बड़ा किला माना जाता है। यह किला काफी ऊंचाई पर बनाया गया है। इसे राव जोधा ने बनवाया था। इस किले में 7 गेट हैं और यह सातों गेट राजा के किसी युद्ध में जीतने पर स्मारक के तौर पर बनवाया गया था।
किले के अंदर है भव्य महल
मेहरानगढ़ किले में जायापॉल गजायापॉल गेट राजा मानसिंह ने बनवाया था। इस किले के अंदर मोती महल, शीश महल जैसे भवनों को बहुत ही खूबसूरती से सजाया गया है। इसके अलावा यहां चामुंडा देवी का मंदिर और म्यूजियइस भी हैं और इस म्यूजियम को राजस्थान का सबसे अच्छा म्यूजियम माना जाता है।
आगरा का किला (Agra Fort), उत्तर प्रदेश (Uttar Pradesh)
उत्तर प्रदेश के आगरा में बने इस किले को यूनेस्को ने विश्व धरोहर में शामिल किया है। पहले यह किला राजपूत राजा पृथ्वीराज चौहान का था, परंतु बाद में इस पर महमूद गजनवी ने कब्जा कर लिया। अपने वास्तुशिल्प, नक्काशी और सुंदर रंग-रोगन के साथ यह देश का सबसे सुंदर किला माना जाता है।
किले में बसा है पूरा शहर
इस किले के अंदर पूरा एक शहर बसा हुआ है, जिसकी इमारतें बेहतरीन कला के नमूने है। सफेद संगमरमर की मोती मस्जिद, दीवान-ए-आम, दीवान-ए-खास, मुसम्मन बुर्ज, जहांगीर पैलेस, खास महल और शीश महल उनमें से कुछ खास हैं। मुगल शासक बादशाह अकबर ने सन 1573 मे इस किले का निर्माण किया थे।
ग्वालियर का किला (Gwalior Fort), मध्य प्रदेश (Madhya Pradesh)
मध्य प्रदेश के ग्वालियर शहर में स्थित इस किले को राजा मानसिंह तोमर ने बनवाया था। इसे उत्तर और मध्य भारत के सबसे सुरक्षित किलों में से एक माना जाता है। सुंदर स्थापत्य कला, दीवारों और प्राचीरों पर बेहतरीन नक्काशी, रंग-रोगन और शिल्पकारी की वजह से देखने में यह किला बेहद खूबसूरत है। यह गोपांचल पर्वत पर लाल बलुए पत्थर से बना है।
यहां है अद्भुत नमूने
इस किले के भीतरी हिस्सों में मध्यकालीन स्थापत्य के अद्भुत नमूने देखने को मिल सकते है।15वीं शताब्दी में बना गूजरी महल उनमें से एक है, जो राजा मानसिंह और गूजरी रानी मृगनयनी के प्रेम का प्रतीक माना जाता है। यह मैदानी क्षेत्र से 100 मीटर ऊंचाई पर है। किले की बाहरी दीवार लगभग 2 मील लंबी है और चौड़ाई एक किलोमीटर से लेकर 200 मीटर तक की है।
चित्तौड़गढ़ का किला (Chittorgarh Fort), राजस्थान (Rajasthan)
राजस्थान के चित्तौड़गढ़ में स्थित यह किला 700 एकड़ जमीन पर बना है। जमीन से 500 फुट की ऊंची पहाड़ी पर बना यह किला बेराच नदी के किनारे स्थित है। 7वीं सदी से लेकर 16वीं सदी तक यह राजपूत वंश का महत्वतपूर्ण गढ़ रहा था। इस किले की विशेषता इसके मजबूत प्रवेशद्वार, बुर्ज, महल, मंदिर, दुर्ग और जलाशय हैं।
इस किले में सात प्रवेश द्वार
इस किले के सात प्रवेश द्वार हैं, जिसमें पहला प्रवेश द्वार पैदल पोल के नाम से जाना जाता है। उसके बाद भैरव पोल, हनुमान पोल, गणेश पोल, जोली पोल, लक्ष्मण पोल और आखिर में राम पोल है। अंतिम पोल 1459 में बनवाया गया था। इस किले की पूर्वी दिशा में स्थित प्रवेशद्वार को सूरज पोल कहा जाता है। यहां दो प्रसिद्ध जलाशय हैं, जो विजय स्तंभ और राणा कुंभा के नाम से जाना जाता है।
लाल किला (Red Fort), दिल्ली (Delhi)
दिल्ली में स्थित लाल किला विश्व प्रसिद्ध किला है। इसका निर्माण तोमर राजा अनंगपाल ने 1060 में करवाया था। बाद में पृथ्वीराज चौहान ने इसे फिर से बनवाया और शाहजहां ने इसे तुर्क शैली में ढलवाया था। यह किला लाल बलुआ पत्थरों से बना है इसलिए इसे लाल किला कहा जाता है। भारत के लिए यह किला ऐतिहासिक महत्व रखता है।
ऐसी पड़ी लाल किले की नींव
मुगल शासक शाहजहां ने 11 वर्ष तक आगरा से शासन करने के बाद यह तय किया कि राजधानी को दिल्ली लाया जाए और यहां सन 1618 में लाल किले की नींव रखी। सन् 1647 में इसका उद्घाटन हुआ था। करीब डेढ़ मील में बने इस किले के लाहौर और दिल्ली के दो प्रवेश द्वार हैं।
सोनार का किला (Sonar fort), राजस्थान (Rajasthan)
सोनार का किला राजस्थान के जैसलमेर में स्थित है। इस किले की सबसे बड़ी खासियत यह है कि इस पर जैसे ही सूरज की किरणें पड़ती है। इससे ही यह सोने की तरह चमकने लगता है इसलिए इसे सोनार का किला कहते हैं। इसके अलावा रेगिस्तान के बीच स्थित होने के वजह से इसे रेगिस्तान का दुर्ग भी कहा जाता है। यह दुनिया के बड़े किलों में से एक है और इसमें चारों ओर 99 गढ़ बने हुए हैं, जिनमे से 92 गढ़ों का निर्माण 1633 से 1647 के बीच हुआ था।
मुख्य आकर्षण गोपा चौक
जैसलमेर के किले का मुख्य आकर्षण गोपा चौक स्थित किले का पहला प्रवेश द्वार है। यह विशाल और भव्य द्वार पत्थर पर की गई नक्काशी का शानदार नमूना है। दूसरा आकर्षण दुर्ग के अंतिम द्वार हावड़पोल के पास स्थित दशहरा चौक है, जहां पर टूरिस्ट खरीददारी भी कर सकते हैं। इसके अलावा इस किले में एक अन्य आकर्षण है राजमहल, जो किले के अंदरूनी हिस्से में बना हुआ है। यह किले का सबसे खूबसूरत हिस्सा है।
कांगड़ा किला (Kangra Fort), हिमाचल प्रदेश (Himachal Pradesh)
हिमाचल प्रदेश के कांगड़ा में स्थित यह किला शाही परिवार ने बनवाया था। यह दुनिया के सबसे पुराने किलों में से एक है। इसे किलो को नगरकोट या कोट कांगड़ा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। बाणगंगा और मांझी नदियों के ऊपर स्थित कांगड़ा किला, 500 राजाओं की वंशावली के पूर्वज राजा भूमचंद की ‘त्रिगतरा’ भूमि की राजधानी थी।
धन संपत्ति का है भंडार
यह किला धन-संपति के भंडार के लिए प्रसिद्ध था। मोहम्मद गजनी ने भारत में अपने चौथे अभियान के दौरान पंजाब को हराकर सीधे 1009 ईसवी में कांगड़ा पहुंचा था।
गोलकुंडा का किला (Golconda Fort), हैदराबाद (Hyderabad)
आंध्रप्रदेश की राजधानी हैदराबाद से 11 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित गोलकुंडा किला का निर्माण काकतिया शासकों ने करवाया था। इसकी पहचान इस किले की भव्यता और सुंदर संरचनाएं है। आज भी हजारों की संख्या में पर्यटकों इस किले को देखने आते है। इस दुर्ग का निर्माण वारंगल के राजा ने 14वीं शताब्दी में कराया था। बाद में यह बहमनी राजाओं के हाथ में चला गया और मुहम्मदनगर कहलाने लगा।
कुतुबशाही अधिकार में आया किला
1512 ई. में यह कुतुबशाही राजाओं के अधिकार में आया फिर सन 1687 में इसे औरंगजेब ने जीत लिया। ग्रेनाइट की एक पहाड़ी पर बने इस किले में कुल आठ दरवाजे हैं। यह पत्थर की तीन मील लंबी मजबूत दीवार से घिरा है। इसके अलावा मूसी नदी इसके दक्षिण में बहती है। दुर्ग से लगभग आधा मील दूर उत्तर में कुतबशाही राजाओं के ग्रेनाइट पत्थर के मकबरे हैं, जो आज भी टूटी-फूटी अवस्था में मौजूद है।
सिंधुदुर्ग (Sindhudurg), महाराष्ट्र (Maharashtra)
सिंधुदुर्ग मुंबई से 400 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर समुद्र के बीच में बनाया गया था। किले का निर्माण शिवाजी ने 1664 से 1667 के बीच किया था। सिंधुदुर्ग अपनी खूबसूरती से पर्यटकों को अपनी ओर आकर्षित करता है। यह मुंबई के दक्षिण में महाराष्ट्र के कोंकण क्षेत्र में स्थित है। सिंधुदुर्ग समुद्र के बीच एक छोटे टापू पर बना है।
कुम्भलगढ़ का किला (Kumbhalgarh Fort), राजस्थान (Rajasthan)
महाराणा कुंभा ने बनवाया किला
राजस्थान के राजसमंद में स्थित कुम्भलगढ़ किले का निर्माण महाराणा कुम्भा ने करवाया था। इस किले की दो खासियत हैं। पहली इस किले की दीवारें विश्व की दूसरी सबसे बड़ी दीवार है, जो की 36 किलो मीटर लम्बी है तथा 15 फीट चौड़ी है। यह इतनी चौड़ी है कि इस पर एक साथ पांच घोड़े दौड़ सकते है। दूसरी विशेषता यह है कि इस दुर्ग के अंदर 360 से ज्यादा मंदिर हैं, जिनमें से 300 प्राचीन जैन मंदिर और बाकि सब हिंदू मंदिर हैं।
दुश्मन नहीं भेद सकते इसे
यह एक अभेध किला है, जिसे दुश्मन कभी अपने बल पर नहीं जीत पाया। इस किले की ऊंचे जगहों पर महल, मंदिर और रहने के लिए इमारते बनाई गईं और समतल भूमि का उपयोग कृषि के लिए किया गया। इसके अलावा ढला ढलान वाले भागों का इस्तेमाल जलाशयों के लिए करके इस दुर्ग को पूरी तरह सक्षम बनाया गया।
