मखाना को सुपर फ़ूड के साथ साथ आर्गेनिक फ़ूड के नाम से भी जाना जाता हैं।मखाना को उपजाने के लिए आपको किसी भी प्रकार की किटनासक या खाद का इस्तेमाल नही करना पड़ता हैं।मखाना में बहुत सारी प्रोटीन,कार्बोहाइड्रेट, वसा,खनिल नवल,फॉस्फोरस और लौह पदार्थ पाया जाता हैं।इसलिए मखाना का इस्तेमाल लोग पूजा में भी करते हैं।क्योंकि इससे हमारा स्वास्थ अच्छा रहता हैं।

80% मखाने की खेती होती हैं बिहार में:-

पूरे देश भर में 20 हेक्टेयर मखाने की खेती होती हैं जिसमे 80 प्रतिशत बिहार में ही होती हैं।पूर्णिया,कटिहार,अररिया और मधुबनी के किसान इस सुपर फ़ूड की खेती कर के मुनाफा कमा रहे हैं।किसानों ने अब जोखिम उठाना भी शुरू कर दिया हैं।क्योंकि जहाँ बाढ़ आने का डर भी रहता हैं वहाँ भी अब किसान मखाने की खेती कर के मुनाफा कमा रहे हैं। जहाँ सालभर जलजमाव रहता है तथा कोशी जैसे नदियों वाले छेत्र में भी किसान मखाने की खेती कर रहे हैं।

पानी का बहुत बड़ा योगदान होता है मखाने की खेती में:-

मखाने की खेती में पानी का बहुत बड़ा हाथ होता हैं।मखाने के पते पानी के ऊपरी सतह पर फैलते है।तथा जब पानी घटता है तो ये खेत के जमीन पर फैल जाता हैं।उसके बाद किसान एक साथ फसल को मिलाकर उसे पानी से बाहर निकलता हैं।इसके बुहारन के प्रक्रिया में किसान को काफी सावधानी बरतनी पड़ती हैं।

सामान्य खेतों में भी कर सकते है मखाने की खेती:-

मखाने की एक खासियत ये भी है कि आप इसको सामान्य खेत भी उगा सकते हैं।आप सिर्फ अपने खेत मे 6 से 9 इंच तक पानी भर के इसकी खेती कर सकते हैं।आप एक हेक्टेयर खेत मे 28 से 30 क्विंटल तक मखाने उपजा सकते हैं।

दरभंगा है प्रसिद्ध:-

बिहार के दरभंगा में मखाने की खेती बहुत होती हैं।और यहाँ के मखाने की बाजार में बहुत डिमांड भी हैं क्योंकि दरभंगा में गोरिया मखाने की खेती होती हैं।जिससे कच्चा तेल तैयार होता हैं।साथ ही साथ इसके लावा को निकालना बहुत मुश्किल काम हैं जिसमे दरभंगा के किसान एक्सपर्ट हैं।

एक एकड़ जमीन में आप 10 से 12 क्विंटल मखाना उपजा सकते हैं।एक एकड़ की खेती में किसानों का 20 से 25 हज़ार तक लागत लगता हैं परन्तु मुनाफा 60 से 80 हज़ार तक होता हैं।मखाने की खेती का सबसे अच्छा समय मार्च से अगस्त तक माना जाता हैं।

बिहार के अलावा और भी जगहों पर होती है मखाने की खेती:-

बिहार के अलावा पश्चिम बंगाल,असम,ओडिशा,जम्मू-कश्मीर,मध्य प्रदेश,राजस्थान और मणिपुर में भी होती हैं।अब दूसरों शहरों के किसान भी मखाने की खेती कर रहे हैं।और मुनाफा कमा रहे हैं।

दरभंगा में 2002 में राष्ट्रीय माखन सोध केंद्र की स्थापना हुई थी।यह भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद के अंतर्गत काम करता हैं।मखाने की निर्यात से देश को हर साल 20 से 25 करोड़ विदेशी मुद्रा की प्राप्ति होती हैं।
