कैसे काम करती है गोली?

बंदूक या ट्रिगर पर निकलने वाली कार्टिज के तीन हिस्से (प्राइमर, खोखा, केस और बुलेट) होते हैं। प्राइमर जो कार्टिज का पिछला हिस्सा होता है, फायरिंग करने के वक्त बारूद में विस्फोट करता है। कार्टिज के बीच में खोखा होता है और उसी में गन पाउडर भरा होता है। जैसे ही गोली चलती है यह खोखा बंदूक से बाहर निकल कर गिर जाती है।

लेड या सीसे की बना बुलेट, कार्टिज का सबसे बाहरी हिस्सा होता है जो शरीर को चीरते हुए अंदर घुस जाता है। बंदूक के ट्रिगर को जब दबाया जाता है तब प्राइमर पर तेज चोट लगने के वजह से बुलेट में चिंगारी लगती है और खोखे में भरी गन पाउडर में विस्फोट हो जाता है। यही कारण है कि बुलेट से अलग होकर खोखा धरती पर गिर जाता है और बहुत तेज बल के प्रभाव से बुलेट तेजी से आगे बढ़ता है।

कैसे होती है गोली लगने से मौत?

हालांकि, गोली से मौत होने की कई वजह है। जैसे, बुलेट अपने रास्ते में आनेवाले शरीर के खाल और अंदर के भाग को चीरते हुए जिस्म से बाहर निकल जाती है। कई बार यह हड्डी से टकराने के कारण जिस्म में धंस जाती है। वहीं कई बार बुलेट तेज रफ्तार से सीधे शरीर के अंदर घुस जाती है।

इसी कारण शरीर में गोली लगते ही खून निकलने लगता है। ऐसे में यदि किसी के शरीर से खून अधिक बह जाने की वजह से इन्सान की मौत हो जाती हैं तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ गोली कई बार जिस्म के ऐसे भाग पर लगती है जिससे तुरंत ही हमारा शरीर काम करना बंद कर देता है, उदाहरण दिल और दिमाग पर। बुलेट चलते समय वह बेहद गर्म होता है जिससे यह शरीर में घुसती है तो उससे अंग डैमेज भी हो सकती है। डैमेज अंग बाद में किसी के भी मृत्यु का कारण बन जाता है।

हालांकि, अधिकांश मामले में जिस्म से खून का अधिक बहाव और इन्फेक्शन ही किसी के मौत का कारण बनता है।
