आपको बता दें कि पृथ्वी के गोलाकार होने की वजह से ही गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल चारों दिशाओं से वस्तुओं को पृथ्वी की केंद्र की ओर आकर्षित करता है। गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल सभी वस्तुओं पर एक समान कार्य करता है। ऐसे में यदि पृथ्वी चपटी आकार की हो जाए, तो इस पर कोई भी गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल कार्य नहीं करेगा। ऐसा इसलिए क्योंकि जब गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल चपटी आकार की पृथ्वी पर कार्य करेगा तो इस बल के प्रभाव से धरती अपने पूर्व रूप में आ जाएगी। हालांकि कुछ वैज्ञानिकों का मानना है कि जहां गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल सक्रिय रहेगा उस क्षेत्र में पृथ्वी का थाली के जैसा सपाट आकार में जाना असंभव है।

हालांकि यदि चपटी पृथ्वी पर गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल काम करेगा तो ये सभी चीजों को उत्तरी ध्रुव के पास खींच लेगा, जिससे अर्थ के सेंटर से वस्तुओं पर एक बहुत तेज बल लगेगा। ऐसे में पृथ्वी के इस तेज बल से तबाही आना सुनिश्चित है।

नहीं होगा वायुमंडल

आपको बता दें कि गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल के कारण ही पृथ्वी पर वायुमंडल है जो जीवन का मूल आधार है। लेकिन जैसा कि हम जानते हैं पृथ्वी सपाट होगी तो वह अपना गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल खो देगी। ऐसे में इस बल के नहीं होने के कारण सौरमंडल के बाकी ग्रहों के तरह ही धरती भी वायुमंडल रहित हो जाएगी, जिससे अर्थ का आकाश घने काले रंग का प्रतीत होने लगेगा। इसके अलावा वायुमंडलीय दबाव इतना कम हो जाएगा कि धरती पर जीवन नष्ट हो जाएगा। इसके अलावा धरती का पानी उबल कर अंतरिक्ष में कही विलुप्त हो जाएगा। ऐसा इसलिए होगा क्योंकि वायुमंडल ना होने की वजह से वैपर प्रेशर बाहर के वायुमंडलीय दबाव के समान हो जाएगा, जिसकी वजह से पानी क्या बॉईलिंग पॉइंट बेहद कम हो जाएगा। इसका प्रभाव यह होगा कि बेहद कम तापमान में भी पानी उबलने लगेगा। इसके अलावा पृथ्वी क्या का अधिकांश हिस्सा वर्ष में तब्दील हो जाएगा।

नहीं होगी बारिश

इसका कारण यह है कि पृथ्वी के चपटी होने के कारण सेंटर आफ ग्रेविटी नॉर्थ पोल के ऊपर रूपांतरित हो जाएगा, जिससे साधारण तरीके से बारिश ना होकर सभी प्रकार की बारिश सतह से तिरछी कोण में होगी, जिससे अकाल की स्थिति उत्पन्न हो जाएगी। यदि बारिश होगी भी तो सिर्फ नॉर्थ पोल पर होगी या उसकी दिशा में ही होगी। इसके अलावा सभी प्रकार की नदियां नॉर्थ पोल की तरफ बहने लगेगी। इससे वहां एक बड़े आकार का महासागर बन जाएगा।

आज के समय में सभी प्रकार की इंफॉर्मेशन को इकट्ठा करने का काम ग्लोबल नेवीगेशन सेटेलाइट सिस्टम (GNNS) के ऊपर ही निर्भर है। लेकिन पृथ्वी के सपाट हो जाने के कारण यहां सेटेलाइट भी नहीं मंडरा सकता है। अर्थ के सपाट होने पर सभी अपना रास्ता भूल जाएंगे। दूसरे शब्दो में जीवन की कल्पना भी नहीं की जा सकती है।

इन सभी घटनाओं के अलावा आरकेटी के पृथ्वी के बीच में आ जाएगा और अंटार्कटिका के पास के क्षेत्रों में बर्फ की एक बहुत बड़ी दीवार खड़ी हो जाएगी इस कारण से भी लोग आसानी से ट्रेवल नहीं कर पाएंगे तथा भौगोलिक बाधाओं को पार करते हुए भ्रमण करना पड़ेगा।
