हम सब की ये इक्छा होती है कि अगर कोई अच्छी सी नौकरी मिल जाए, तो हमारा पूरा जीवन स्वर जाएगा। दुनिया मे ऐसे बहुत ही कम लोग है जो अपनी अस्थाई नौकरी छोड़ के कोई रिस्क लेना चाहते है। तो आइए आज हम आपको ऐसे प्रोफेसर की कहानी से परिचित करवाएंगे, जिन्होंने अपनी नौकरी छोड़ कर मोती की खेती को चुना, और आज वो लाखो कमा रहे है इससे।
के.जे माथचन्द का परिचय-
के.जे. माथचन्द केरल के कासरगोड के रहने वाले है। उनकी उम्र 65 वर्ष की है। माथचन्द अपने घर के बने तालाब में ही बाल्टी में मोतियों की खेती कर रहे है। माथचन्द की मोती विदेशों में भी निर्यात होती है जैसे- ऑस्ट्रेलिया, कुवैत,स्विट्ज़रलैंड और सऊदी अरब में, जिससे उनकी लाखो की कमाई होती है।
प्रोफेसर की नौकरी छोड़ चुना खेती को-
माथचन्द सऊदी अरब के किंग फहद यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ पेट्रोलियम एंड मिनरलस में दूरसंचार विभाग में प्रोफेसर के पद पर कार्यरत थे। उसी समय उन्हें अरामको आयल कंपनी की तरफ से ट्रांसलेटर बना क़त चीन भेजा गया। माथचन्द को मछली पालन में शुरू से ही रुचि रही है। जब वो चीन गए तो वहाँ वो ” दंसुई मत्स्य अनुसंधान केंद्र ” गए। वहाँ माथचन्द को पता चला कि वहाँ मोती के उत्पादन में डिप्लोमा कोर्स कराया जाता है। माथचन्द को मोती की खेती करने में रुचि जगी और उन्होंने अपनी प्रोफेसर की नौकरी छोड़ दी और चीन चले गए, 6 महीने का कोर्स करने ।
स्वदेश आने का मन बनाया-
ट्रेनिंग लेने के बाद माथचन्द ने अपने देश आकर मोती की खेती करने की सोची। ये बात 1999 की है जब माथचन्द अपने देश आये और अपने घर के तालाब में 1.5 लाख की लागत लगा कर, उन्होंने मोती की खेती शुरू की। पहले ही साल उन्होंने 4.5 लाख की मोती बेची, और 3 लाख का मुनाफा कमाया।
जब माथचन्द ने मोती की खेती करने की सोची तो बहुत से लोगो ने उनकी आलोचना की और उन्हें हतोसाहित किया, परन्तु माथचन्द ने अपने ऊपर विश्वास रखा और आज सफलता उनके कदम चुम रही है।
मोती की खेती में सफलता पाने के लिए माथचन्द ने महाराष्ट्र और पश्चिम घाटियों से सिप लाया और उन्हें आने घर के तालाब में पर बाल्टियों मर उपचारित क़र दिया। 18 महीनों में माथचन्द ने 50 बाल्टी मोतियों की खेती की, और लाखों की कमाई की।
कैसे करते है मोतियों की खेती-
माथचन्द बताते है कि मुख्यतः मोती 3 प्रकार के होते है, कृत्रिम, प्रकीर्तिक और सवधंरित। माथचन्द 21 वर्षो सवधंरित मोती की खेती कर रहे है। माथचन्द का कहना है कि भारत मे इस मोती की आसान है, क्योंकि भारत मे उपयुक्त ताजे पानी का शम्बूक आसानी से मिल जाता है। माथचन्द पहले नदियों से सिप लेके आते है, उसके बाद उन सीपो को जीवाणु युक्त कंटेनर में 15-25 डिग्री सेल्सियस गर्म पानी में डुबो देते है।
माथचन्द सिप से कैल्शियम कार्बोनेट जमा करके एक थैली बनाते है। जिसपर 540 कोटिंग की परतें होती है, जिससे उच्चतम गुनवांता वाले मोती का निर्माण होता है। और इस प्रक्रिया में पूरे 18 महीने लगते है।
देश और विदेशों में होता है निर्यात-
मोतियों की कीमत 1800 प्रति ग्राम होती है। माथचन्द की मोतिया इतनी अच्छी गुनवांता वाली होती है कि देश के साथ साथ विदेशों में भी उन मोतियों की काफी मांग होती है। माथचन्द के पास केरल के बहुत सारे विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र आते है मोतियों के बारे में जानने के लिए, इसके साथ ही माथचन्द कई विश्वविद्यालयों में भी जाते है मोती के खेती के बारे में लेक्चर देते है। माथचन्द की अनोखी मोती के खेती को विदेशों से भी लोग देखने और सीखने आते है। इस कोरोना महामारी में माथचन्द ने बहुत से लोगो को ऑनलाइन ट्रेनिंग दिया, जिससे बहुत सारे लोगो को लाभ हुआ।
