मध्य प्रदेश (Madhya Pradesh) के पन्ना जिले के सरकारी स्कूल में सहायक शिक्षक विजय कुमार चंसोरिया (Assistant Teacher Vijay Kumar Chansoria) ने दूध बेचकर अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी की थी और रिक्शा चलाकर शिक्षक बनने तक के सफर को पूरा किया। जब वे रिटायर हुए तो रिटायरमेंट के 40 लाख रुपए गरीब बच्चों को दान कर दिया।
गरीबी में गुजरा बचपन
शिक्षक विजय कुमार चंसोरिया (Assistant Teacher Vijay Kumar Chansoria) ने अपने बचपन में गरीबी को बहुत हीं नजदीक से देखा था। उनके घर की आर्थिक हालात इतने खराब थे कि उनके पास पैसे नहीं थे कि वे अपनी कॉपी किताबे भी खरीद सके। लेकिन शुरू से हीं इनको पढ़ाई के प्रति एक अलग हीं जुनून था, जिसे पूरा करने के लिए उन्होंने दूध बेचना शुरू कर दिया और जैसे-तैसे अपने पढ़ाई पूरी की। उन्होंने बताया कि, नौकरी नहीं लगने के पहले उन्होंने घर का खर्च उठाने के लिए रिक्शा को भी चलाया।

शिक्षक विजय कुमार चंसोरिया ने अपने सरकारी नौकरी 39 साल तक किया और जब वे रिटायर हुए तो उस दौरान वे खंदिया स्कूल में पढ़ाते थे।
उन्होंने बताया कि, यह स्कूल एक आदिवासी गांव में स्थित है। इस गांव की आर्थिक हालात इतनी खराब है कि यहां के बच्चे बोर्ड द्वारा निर्धारित परीक्षा की फीस नहीं भर पाते हैं। और बच्चों की इस दुर्दशा को देखते हुए उन्होंने फैसला लिया कि रिटायरमेंट में मिलने वाले 40 लाख रूपये इन बच्चों को दान कर देंगे ताकि वे अपनी आगे की पढ़ाई अच्छे से कर सकें।
