कम्पोस्ट और वर्मीकम्पोस्ट में अंतर

उन्होंने बताया कि कंपोस्ट का निर्माण गोबर और खरपतवार द्वारा होता है, जिसमें पतियों एवं गोबर को कहीं खाली स्थान में छोड़ दिया जाता है। वही बात अगर वर्मिंग कमपोस्ट की करें, तो इसके लिए भी गोबर और खरपतवार की आवश्यकता है। परंतु यह केंचुए की मदद से निर्मित किया जाता है। ये केंचुए उन गोबर और खरपतवार को खाने के बाद जो मल त्यागा करते हैं, वही वर्मिनकंपोस्ट कहलाता है।

कैसे होता है जलकुंभी से वर्मी कम्पोस्ट का निर्माण?

कंपोस्ट में न्यूट्रिएंट्स होते हैं एवं वर्मी कंपोस्ट में भी न्यूट्रिएंट्स रहते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त इसमें बहुत ही लाभदायक एंजाइम एवं एंटीबायोटिक भी मौजूद होते हैं, जो पौधों के लिए बहुत ही आवश्यक है।

वर्मी कंपोस्ट का निर्माण

जलकुंभी से वर्मी कंपोस्ट के निर्माण के लिए इसे जल से निकालने के उपरांत इसके जड़ को काट ऊपरी हिस्से को रखा जाता है। जड़ को इसलिए निकाल दिया जाता है क्योंकि इसे गलने में वक्त लगता है और केंचुए इसे नहीं खाते।- making of compost from water hyacinth

मिलाया जाता है गोबर

आगे इसे सुखाया जाता है एवं सुखाने के उपरांत इसे गोबर में मिला दिया जाता है। हालांकि गोबर डालते वक्त सिर्फ गोबर ही नहीं बल्कि उसमें पानी मिलाकर घोल तैयार किया जाता है। इसके उपरांत उसे अच्छी तरह मिलाकर टैंक में इकट्ठा करके रख दिया जाता है। इसे ढकने के लिए जूट के बोरे एवं घास का भी उपयोग किया जाता है।

वर्मीकम्पोस्ट की कीमत

आगे चार-पांच दिन के बाद उसमें केंचुए को डाला जाता है। वर्मी कंपोस्ट के निर्माण के लिए युड्रिल्स यूजिनी और आइसेनिया फेटीडा बहुत अच्छे होते हैं। खेत में डालने के उपरांत उनमें लगभग चार-पांच दिनों तक पानी का छिड़काव करते रहना चाहिए।

बनकर तैयार हो जाता है कंपोस्ट

तीन महीने इंतजार करने के उपरांत वर्मीकम्पोस्ट बनकर तैयार हो जाता है। अगर केंचुए नहीं है तो केले के तनों द्वारा जलकुंभी को मिलाकर वर्मीकम्पोस्ट बन रहा है। इन जलकुंभी द्वारा निर्मित उर्वरक 800 रुपए प्रति किलोग्राम बिकती हैं।- making of compost from water hyacinth
