आज के दौर में ज्यादातर युवा विदेशों में रहकर पूरे ऐशो आराम से जिंदगी जीना पसंद करते हैं और वहां रहकर उनका मकसद अच्छी कमाई करना भी होता है लेकिन बहुत कम लोग ऐसे देखने को मिलते हैं, जो विदेश से लौटकर कृषि करना पसंद करते हैं।
इन्हीं चंद लोगों में पंजाब (Panjab) के मोगा जिला स्थित लोहारा गांव के रहने वाले रजविंदर सिंह धालीवाल (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) भी शामिल हैं, जिन्होंने अमेरिका छोड़ भारत में रहने (Punjab Man Left USA) का फैसला किया और महज कुछ ही एकड़ में खेती कर अच्छा मुनाफा कमा रहे हैं।
जी हां, अमेरिका से भारत लौटे रजविंदर (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) अपने 8 एकड़ की जमीन पर गन्ना, आलू, हल्दी, सरसों जैसे फसलों को प्राकृतिक तरीके से उगा रहे हैं और इन फसलों को प्रोसेस कर गुड़, शक्कर और हल्दी पाउडर भी बनाते हैं। इसके अलावें उन्होंने अपने फार्म में आम, अमरूद, चीकू, अनार जैसे फलों के पेड़ भी लगाए हैं और आज उन्हे पारंपरिक खेती करने वाले किसानों के मुकाबले प्रति एकड़ एक लाख रुपए का अधिक मुनाफा हो रहा है।
कैसे आया खेती का ख्याल?
रजविंदर (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) ने बताया कि, अमेरिका में पांच वर्षों तक रहने के दौरान वो ट्रक चलाने से लेकर होटल लाइन तक में काम किया करते थे। लेकिन धीरे-धीरे उन्हे इस बात का एहसास होने लगा कि जीवन में अपने गांव-देश से बढ़कर कुछ नहीं है। इसके बाद उन्होंने 2012 में अमेरिका छोड़ भारत आने का फैसला लिया।
भारत लौटने के बाद उन्होंने (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) अपना होटल बिजनेस शुरू किया लेकिन कुछ हीं समय बाद उन्हें खेती करने का ख्वाइस जगी। इसके बाद उन्होंने ‘किसान विरासत मिशन’ नाम के एक एनजीओ से खेती से जुड़ी जानकारियों को हासिल करना शुरू कर दिया। साथ हीं खेती करने वाले कई किसान दोस्तों से सोशल मीडिया के जरिए बात हुई और वर्ष 2017 में उन्होंने अपने 6 एकड़ जमीन पर पूरी तरह से प्राकृतिक खेती करनी शुरू कर दी।
कैसे की शुरुआत?
सबसे पहले उन्होंने (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) अपने आठ एकड़ जमीन पर सिर्फ हरी खाद दी और कोई फसल नहीं लगाया, क्योंकि इससे पहले इस खेत में रसायन का इस्तेमाल हुआ करता था। इसलिए उन्होंने अपने खेत में हरी खाद की छिड़काव किया ताकि खेत नैचुरल फार्मिंग के लिए तैयार हो सके। उसके बाद वर्ष 2017 में उन्होंने करीब पांच एकड़ में सबसे पहले गन्ना लगाया तथा खेतों की सीमाओं पर 3000 से अधिक फलदार पेड़ भी लगाए हैं।
उत्पादों बनाने के लिए लगाया मशीन
रजविंदर (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) का कहना है कि, नैचुरल फार्मिंग करके बिना वैल्यू एडिशन के अधिक फायदा नहीं कमाया जा सकता है। इसलिए उन्होंने एक एकड़ में मशीनें लगाई ताकि खुद ही गुड़ और हल्दी पाउडर जैसे उत्पादों को बनाया जा सके। इसके अलावें उन्होंने खेत में ही मिट्टी के घर बनाए, जिसमे वे अपने उत्पादों को रखते हैं और काम के बाद इसमें आराम भी किया जाता है।
कई तरह है बनाए जाते हैं गुड़?
इनके (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) यहां गन्ने को बेचा नहीं जाता बल्कि उन गन्नों से खुद हीं शक्कर और गुड़ बनाए जाते हैं। बता दें कि, साधारण गुड़ बनाने के अलावा हल्दी, सौंफ, अजवाइन, तुलसी, ड्राइफ्रूट, आदि मिलाकर कई तरह के मसाला गुड़ भी बनाते हैं।
साथ हीं आपको बता दें कि, इनके (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) यहां साधारण गुड़ को प्रति किलो 110 रुपए में बेचा जाता है और मसाला गुड़ 170 से 350 रुपए प्रति किलो तक बिकता है।
वे (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) बताते हैं कि, “गन्ने की सरकारी दर आज 360 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल है लेकिन एक क्विंटल गन्ने से 10 किलो गुड़ आसानी से बन जाता है। यदि अपने द्वारा बनाए गए गुड़ को कम से कम 110 रुपए किलो की दर पर बेचें, तो भी कमाई में तीन गुना फर्क है।”
गुड़ और शक्कर बनाने के लिए उनके (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) यहां COJ 64, COJ 85, COJ 88 जैसी किस्म की गन्नों का इस्तेमाल किया जाता हैं तथा हर साल कम से कम उनके पास 10 टन गुड़ का उत्पादन होता है, जिससे 8 लाख की कमाई होती है।
सब्जियों तथा फलों को भी करते हैं खेती
रजविंदर (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) अपने खेतों में गन्ने के अलावें हल्दी, सरसों, प्याज और अन्य सब्जियों की भी खेती करते हैं तथा खाद के तौर पर वे एग्रीकल्चर वेस्ट के अलावा गाय के गोबर का इस्तेमाल करते हैं। इसके अलावें अब वे मवेशी पालन भी करते हैं ताकि गोबर कहीं से खरीदना न पड़े और दूध बेच कर भी अच्छी कमाई की जा सके।
उन्होंने (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) बताया कि, उन्होंने अपने यहां कुछ पेड़ भी लगाए हैं, जिसके फल को बेच कर भी पैसा कमाया जा सकता है। इसके अलावें वे अपने खेतों में एक खास तरीके से आलू भी लगाते हैं।
कैसे लगाते हैं आलू?
वे (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) आलू को मिट्टी में नहीं लगाते हैं बल्कि जमीन के ऊपर ही वे आलू को उगाते हैं। इसके लिए वे पहले बेड बनाते हैं और उसपर आलू बिछाने के बाद पराली से ढंक देते हैं। इस प्रक्रिया में पानी की खपत भी कम होती है और इसे उखाड़ना भी आसान होता है।
वे (Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal) बताते हैं कि, इस प्रक्रिया में आलू को उखाड़ना आसान हो जाता है, जिससे मजदूरी भी बचती है और अन्य प्रक्रिया के मुकाबले इसमें सिर्फ 20-25 फीसदी पानी की खपत होती है।
कैसे करते हैं मार्केटिंग?
रजविंदर, ज्यादातर अपने उत्पादों का मार्केटिंग सोशल मीडिया के जरिए करते हैं। वे अपने उत्पादों को कभी थोक में नहीं बेचते हैं ताकि खेती में बिचौलियों की संभावना कम हो और उन्हें अधिक फायदा मिले। उनकी कोशिश सीधे ग्राहकों को बेचने की होती है। इसके अलावें वे अपने खेतों में प्लास्टिक का इस्तेमाल नहीं करते है और ग्राहकों को अपना थैला खुद ले जाना होता है। इनका सलाना टर्नओवर 12 लाख रुपये का है।
