पृथ्वी-1 मिसाइल

25 फ़रवरी सन् 1988 को पृथ्वी-1 मिसाइल का पहला प्रक्षेपण किया गया था। इस मिसाइल का परीक्षण अब्दुुल कलाम की देखरेख में ओडिशा के धामरा तट के द्वीप पर किया गया था। यह मिसाइल 500 से 1000 किलोग्राम वजन तक के अस्त्र ले जाने में सक्षम है।

इसकी रेंज 200-250 किलोमीटर की हैं। पृथ्वी (I) के बाद 27 जनवरी, 1996 को पृथ्वी (II) और 23 जनवरी, 2004 को पृथ्वी (III) मिसाइल का प्रक्षेपण किया गया था।

बह्मोस मिसाइल

ब्रह्मोस एक सुपरसॉनिक क्रूज मिसाइल है। इसे ना केवल पनडुब्बी से बल्कि पानी के जहाज़, विमान या ज़मीन से भी छोड़ा जा सकता है। इसकी रफ़्तार 2.8 मैक है, जो ध्वनि की रफ़्तार के बराबर है।

इसकी रेंज 290 किलोमीटर है। इसके अलावा यह 300 किलोग्राम भारी युद्धक सामग्री ले जाने में भी सक्षम है।

ब्रह्मोस हवा में ही मार्ग बदल सकती है इसलिए यह किसी भी लक्ष्य को भेद सकता हैं। बह्मोस का पहला परीक्षण 12 जून 2001 को हुआ था। इसे ख़ास तौर पर इंडियन आर्मी और नेवी के लिए बनाया गया है।

अग्नि-1 मिसाइल

25 जनवरी साल 2002 को अग्नि-1 मिसाइल का परीक्षण किया गया था। स्वदेशी तकनीक से विकसित सतह से सतह पर मार करने वाली इस परमाणु सक्षम मिसाइल की मारक क्षमता 700 से 900 किलोमीटर है।

यह मध्यम रेंज की बालिस्टिक मिसाइल है, जो 1000 किलो तक के परमाणु हथियार ढोने की सक्षमता रखती है। अग्नि-1 में विशेष नौवहन प्रणाली लगाई गई है, जिससे यह सुनाक्षित होता है कि मिसाइल सटीक निशाने के साथ अपने लक्ष्य पर पहुंचे।

अग्नि-1 के बाद अग्नि-2,अग्नि-3,अग्नि-4 मिसाइल का सफ़ल प्रक्षेपण भी हो चुका हैं।

4- त्रिशूल मिसाइल

त्रिशूल सतह से हवा में मार करने वाली मिसाइल हैं, जो कम दूरी से भी ज़मीन से हवा में मार करने में सक्षम है। इसकी मारक क्षमता 9 किमी है।

इसका परीक्षण भुवनेश्वर से 180 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित चांदीपुर की रेंज में किया गया था। परीक्षण के दौरान इस मिसाइल को एक मोबाइल लॉन्चर के ज़रिए छोड़ा गया। यह मिसाइल जल, थल और वायु तीनों में काम करती है।

आकाश मिसाइल

स्वदेशी तकनीक से निर्मित ‘अकाश मिसाइल’ को डीआरडीओ ने विकसित किया था। यह मिसाइल हवा में दुश्मन के विमान को 40 किमी दूर यह 18 हज़ार मीटर ऊंचाई तक टारगेट बना सकती है।

इसमें लड़ाकू जेट विमानों, क्रूज मिसाइलों और हवा से सतह वाली मिसाइलों के साथ-साथ बैलिस्टिक मिसाइलों को बेअसर करने की क्षमता भी है। 2 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनी आकाश मिसाइल काफ़िले में भी रक्षा करने में सक्षम है।

नाग मिसाइल
