शुरूआती पढाई पूरी करने के बाद अनुज इंजीनियरिंग की और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एंड कम्युनिकेशन में बीटेक की डिग्री प्राप्त की। बीटेक के अंतिम वर्ष में अनुज मलिक (Anuj Malik) ने सिविल सर्विस जॉइन करने का फैसला की। साल 2015 में इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद यूपीएससी एग्जाम की तैयारी शुरू कर दी।
