आज की हमारी यह कहानी एक ऐसे युवा कि है, जो मजदूरी किया करते थे। उनकी मां जीविकोपार्जन के लिए बीड़ी बेचा करती थी परंतु उन्होंने अपनी लगातार परिश्रम से यूपीएससी (UPSC) जैसे कठिन एग्जाम को क्रैक कर आईएएस अधिकारी (IAS) की पोस्ट प्राप्त की। उनका नाम आईएएस अशोक कुमार भार्गव है। (IAS Ashok Kumar Bhargava).

कॉलेज के दिनों में थे बच्चे भी

मध्यप्रदेश (Madhya Pradesh) से ताल्लुक रखने वाले आईएएस अशोक कुमार भार्गव (IAS Ashok Kumar Bhargava) ने अपनी कामयाबी के लिए बहुत परेशानियों का सामना किया है। अपनी शुरुआत की शिक्षा सम्पन्न करने के उपरांत स्कूल के दिनों तक वे वैवाहक बंधन में बंध गए। उनके कॉलेज के दिनों में बच्चे भी हुए, फिर भी उन्होंने अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को निभाते हुए अपने पढ़ाई को जारी रखा।

आईएएस अशोक कुमार भार्गव (IAS Ashok Kumar Bhargava) अपने परिवार के साथ रुस्तम चाल में रहते थे। जैसे-तैसे कर उनका गुजारा होता है परंतु अशोक पढ़ने में बहुत लालायित रहते थे और उनका ध्यान पढ़ाई पर हमेशा रहता था।

अपनी जीविकोपार्जन के लिए उनकी माँ बीड़ी बनाया करती और पिता सिनेमा ऑपरेटर का कार्य करते थे। अपने परिवार की मदद के लिए अशोक भी हमेशा तैयार रहते। उन्होंने कभी मजदूरी की तो कभी आइसक्रीम भी बेंचा। उन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई खर्च के लिए बच्चों को ट्यूशन पढ़ाना प्रारंभ किया और खुद चिमनियों की लाइट में बैठ पढ़ाई करते थे।

ओहदे को देखकर मन बनाया आईएएस बनने का

उन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई को जारी रखा और पीएचडी की डिग्री हासिल की। आगे उनकी नौकरी रतलाम के कन्या महाविद्यालय में लग गई। इन दिनों उन्होंने एक जिला अधिकारी के ओहदे को देखा और निश्चय किया कि वह यूपीएससी (UPSC) की तैयारी करेंगे।

सिविल परीक्षा में हुए उत्तीर्ण

अब उन्होंने अपनी तैयारी मन लगाकर जारी और वह राज्य सिविल परीक्षा में उत्तीर्ण हुए और डिप्टी कलेक्टर बने परन्तु उनका लक्ष्य आईएएस ऑफिसर बनना था, जिसके लिए उन्होंने तैयारी प्रारंभ रखी। आखिरकार उन्होंने अपने तीसरे प्रयास में सफलता हासिल कर ली और आईएएस अधिकारी बने।
