हल्दीराम ब्रांड (Haldiram Brand) की नींव लगभग 79 वर्ष पहले 1937 में बीकानेर में रखी गई थी। गंगाविषण अग्रवाल ने बीकानेर में एक नाश्ते की दुकान शुरू की, जिसमें बिकने वाला स्नैक्स काफी स्वादिष्ट था। स्नैक्स स्वादिष्ट होने के कारण धीरे-धीरे यह दुकान लोगों के बीच भुजियावाले नाम लोकप्रिय होते गया। गंगाविषण अग्रवाल, हल्दीराम के नाम से भी जाने जाते थे यही वजह है कि उनकी या दुकान हल्दीराम के नाम से काफी लोकप्रिय हो गई।

धीरे-धीरे पूरे बीकानेर (Bikaner) में हल्दीराम भुजिया के साथ कई नमकीन प्रोडक्ट भी लोकप्रिय होते गया और देखते ही देखते हल्दीराम (Haldiram) पूरे देशभर में एक बड़ा ब्रांड बन गया। ब्राण्ड लो बढ़ावा देने के लिए देश के अलग-अलग राज्यों में हल्दीराम आउटलेट्स खुलने लगी। हल्दीराम ने दिल्ली और बीकानेर में ही नहीं बल्कि अमेरिका तक अपनी पहुंच बना ली थी।

हल्दीराम का पहला मैन्युफैक्चरिंग प्लांट कोलकाता में खोला गया। उसके बाद वर्ष 1970 में एक आउटलेट जयपुर में फिर 1982 में दिल्ली में खोला गया। लेकिन वर्ष 2015 में अमेरिका ने हल्दीराम प्रोडक्ट्स पर यह कहकर रोक लगा दिया कि इसमें कीटनाशक का प्रयोग किया जाता है। हालांकि इससे हल्दीराम ब्राण्ड पर अधिक असर नहीं हुआ।

एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, वर्ष 2013-14 में उत्तर भारत में हल्दीराम का मैन्युफैक्चरिंग रेवेन्यू 2,100 करोड़ रुपये था। वहीं दक्षिण और पश्चिम भारत में इसका सालाना सेल 1,225 करोड़ रुपये थी, जबकी वर्ष 2019 में यह आँकड़ा 7,130 करोड़ रुपये के पार रहा।

वर्तमान में उत्तर भारत में हल्दीराम के 50 से अधिक आउटलेट्स मौजूद हैं और 100 से अधिक प्रोडक्ट का निर्माण किया जाता है।
