अक्सर अंसार अहमद को स्कूल में मिलने वाला मिड-डे-मिल के खाने से ही भूख मिटाना पड़ता था। एक बार तो उनके पिता उन्हें पढ़ाई बंद करने के लिए भी कह दिए, लेकिन बाद में टीचर के समझाने पर वह मान गए।

किया यूपीएससी का फैसला

10वीं में जो शिक्षक अंसार अहमद को पढाते थे उन्हें MPPCS के लिए चुन लिया गया और यहीं से अंसार ने यूपीएससी की तैयारी करने का फैसला कर लिए।

सपना पूरा करने के लिए किए वेटर की नौकरी

कॉलेज के दौरान छुट्टियों में अंसार अहमद शेख (Ansar Ahmed Sheikh) काम करके पैसे जमा करते थे, ताकि अच्छे से तैयारी कर सकें। इस दौरान वह होटल में वेटर की नौकरी किए, जिसमें उन्हें बर्तन धोने से लेकर फर्श पर पोछा मारने तक का काम करना पड़ता था।

नहीं हुआ हौसला कम

इसके अलावा अंसार अहमद को कई बार भूखे रहना पड़ता था, लेकिन इतनी मुश्किलों के बावजूद भी उनका हौसला कम नहीं हुआ।

साल 2015 में अंसार अहमद की मेहनत रंग लाई। उन्होंने हर चुनौतियों को पार कर अपने पहले ही प्रयास में 371 वा रैंक प्राप्त कर आईएएस बने। आंसर अहमद की हालत ऐसी थी कि जब उनका रिजल्ट आया तो उनके पास दोस्तों को ट्रीट देने के लिए भी पैसे नहीं थे।
