बता दें कि, रेनू राज (IAS Renu Raj) शुरू से हीं सिविल सर्विसेज में जाना चाहती थी और लोगों की सहायता करना चाहती थी, इसके लिए उन्होंने डॉक्टरी छोड़कर यूपीएससी के एग्जाम (UPSC Exam) को दिया और ऑल इंडिया रैंकिंग में दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त करके आईएएस अफसर बनी।

बता दें कि, हाल में आए एस्पिरेंट (Aspirant) नाम की एक वेबसीरीज में यूपीएससी (UPSC) की तैयारी कर रहे तीन दोस्तों की कहानी दिखाई गई है।

रेनू ने कैसा किया अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी

रेनू ने शुरू से हीं काफी मुश्किलों का सामना किया है।उन्होंने अपनी प्रारंभिक शिक्षा केरल के कोट्टायम के सेंट टैरेसा हायर सेकेंडरी स्कूल से पूरी की। और इसके बाद उन्होंने अपनी आगे के शिक्षा कोट्टायम के ही गवर्नमेंट मेडिकल कॉलेज से प्राप्त की। इसके बाद उन्होंने मेडिकल की भी पढ़ाई की।

बचपन से हीं था आईएएस बनने का सपना

रेनू का बचपन से हीं आईएएस बनने का सपना था, लेकिन परिवार वालों के दबाव के कारण उन्होंने मेडिकल के लाइन जाना पड़ा। जब वे एक सर्जन के रूप में काम कर रही थी, तभी उनके मन में लोगों की सेवा का भावना जागृत हुई और उन्होंने यूपीएससी के एग्जाम में बढ़ने का निश्चय किया।

बता दें कि, रेनू के पिता जी एक सेवानिवृत्त सरकारी कर्मचारी हैं और उसकी मां एक हाउस वाइफ हैं। रेनू की अपनी दोनों बहने है और उनके पति पेशे से डॉक्टर हैं

रेनू ने बताया कि, मैं हमेशा से गरीबों लोगों की सहायता करना चाहती थी लेकिन एक डॉक्‍टर होकर में केवल 50 या 100 मरीजों की मदद कर सकती थी, लेकिन जब मैं आईएएस बन जाऊंगी तो मेरे एक फैसले से हजारों लोगों को लाभ मिलेगा। इसी बात को सोचते हुए उन्होंने डॉक्टर होते हुए भी यूपीएससी की तैयारी शुरु कर दी।

मेडिकल प्रेक्टिस के साथ ही किया यूपीएससी की परीक्षा की तैयारी

यूपीएससी एग्जाम इतनी कठिन परीक्षा है कि लोगों के लिए फर्स्ट अटेम्प्ट में क्लियर करना बेहद मुश्किल हो जाते हैं, लेकिन रेनू ने 2013 में डॉक्टरी की प्रैक्टिस के साथ ही साथ यूपीएससी की तैयारी शुरु कर दी।

उन्होंने एक इंटरव्यू में बताया कि, वे यूपीएससी के प्री एग्जाम के दौरान छह-सात महीने तक 3 से 6 घंटे तक पढ़ाई करती थी। लेकिन मेंस एग्जाम के दौरान उन्होंने फिर से डॉक्टरी की प्रैक्टिस शुरू कर दी। लेकिन प्रैक्टिस का असर उन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई पर नहीं होने दी।
