हमसे से अधिकतर लोग ऐसे होते है, जो अपनी परिस्थितियों से हार मान कर उन्हें ही अपना जीवन मान लेते है, और उसी के साथ अपना पूरा जीवन निकाल देते है, परन्तु हमारे बीच कुछ ऐसे ही शख्सियत भी होते है जो अपनी परिस्थितियों से लड़कर अपनी मेहनत से अपना जीवन सवार के एक नई कहानी लिखते है, आज हम अपको ऐसे ही “लेडी सिंघम” के बारे में बताएंगे जिन्होंने अपनी किस्मत खुद से लिखी है।

IPS अम्बिका का परिचय-

अम्बिका की शादी मात्र 14 वर्ष में ही हो गयी थी, उस समय तो उन्हें शादी का अर्थ भी नही पता था, परन्तु अम्बिका किसी को भी इसके लिए दोष नही देती है। उनकी शादी तमिलनाडु के एक कांस्टेबल से हुई थी, आए 18 वर्ष के उम्र में वो 2 बेटियों की माँ बन चुकी थी। वो कहती है कि मुझे किसी प्रकार का कष्ट नही था, न ही मैं UPSC या IAS के बारे में जानती थी, मैं अपने घर गृहस्थी को संभाल रही थी और खुश थी, आज उन्हें मुम्बई में लोग “लेडी सिंघम” कह के बुलाते है।

कैसा सोचा IPS बनने के बारे में-

कहते है कि कभी-कभी हम कुछ और सोचते है और किस्मत ने हमारे लिए कुछ और ही सोच के रखा हुआ रहता है, ऐसा ही हुआ अम्बिका के साथ, एक बार गणतंत्र दिवस में वो अपने पति के साथ गयी थी, वहां उन्होंने देखा कि उनके पति अफसरों को सैल्युट कर रहे है, बाद में उन्होंने अपने पति से पूछा की वो उनलोगों को क्यों सैल्युट कर रहब थे, तब उनके पति ने कहा कि क्योंकि वो बरे पदाधिकारी थे।

उसके बाद उन्होंने अपने पति से कई सवाल किए जैसे- पदाधिकारी कैसे बन सकते है, सिविल सर्विसेज का एग्जाम निकालने के लिए क्या करना होगा? जब उनके सारे सवालों के जवाब मिल गए, तब उन्होंने ये ठानी की वो IAS अधिकारी बन के रहेंगी।

शुरू किया IPS की तैयारी-

पहले तो अम्बिका के पति को उनकी बात बचकानी लगी, परन्तु अम्बिका ने अपने मेहनत करने से ये साबित कर दिया कि वो अपने लक्ष्य को लेके बहुत ही फोकस है, परन्तु उन्हें बहुत कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा, क्योंकि वो गृहणी थी उसके बाद 2 बेटियों की माँ भी, इसके साथ ही उनको पढ़ाई छोरे सालों हो गए थे। परन्तु उन्होंने हार नही मानी और मेहनत करती रही, उन्होंने एक प्राइवेट कोचिंग में 10वी की तैयारी करने के लिए एडमिशन लिया, जब उनकी 10 और 12वी कम्पलीट हो गयी तो उन्होंने डिस्टेंस से ग्रेजुएशन की डिग्री ली। ग्रेजुएशन के बाद वो अपने सपने को पूरा करने में लग गयी।

पति ने हर कदम पर दिया साथ-

अम्बिका के लिए ये सफर बहुत ही कठिन था, परन्तु उनके पति ने हर कदम पर उनका साथ दिया, UPSC की तैयारी करने के लिए अच्छी कोचिंग की ज़रूरत थी परन्तु उनके छेत्र में कोई भी कोचिंग नही थी, इसलिए उन्होंने चेन्नई आके UPSC की तैयारी करने की ठानी। उनके पति ने उन्हें भरोसा दिलाया की वो अपनी नौकरी के साथ बच्चों का भी ध्यान रख लेंगे, अम्बिका कहती है ये सब बताने में जितना आसान है उतना आसान बिल्कुल भी नही था।

तीन बार असफलता के बाद मिली सफलता-

अम्बिका UPSC एग्जाम में तीन बार असफल हुई, अब उनके पति भी हार मान चुके थे, और उन्हें वापस आने के लिए कह चुके थे, परन्तु वो एक आखिरी प्रयास और करना चाहती थी उन्होंने हिम्मत नही हारी थी, उन्हीने चौथी बार अपनी पूरी जान लगा दी और इस बार वो सफल हुई। 2008 में उन्होंने यूपीएससी की परीक्षा पास की और अपने सपने को पूरा किया। ट्रेनिंग पूरी होने के बाद उन्हें पहली पोस्टिंग महाराष्ट्र में मिली, इसके बाद वो मुम्बई जोन-4 में डीसीपी बनी और यही उन्हें ” लेडी सिंघम” का नाम मिला।

अम्बिका जी से हम सिख सकते है की अपने लक्ष्य को हम कैसे पूरा करे, हमारी तरफ से उन्हें ढ़ेर सारी शुभकामनाएं।
