मेहनत की मिशाल है जिन पर ऋणों के निशाँ है हल चलाने में स्वयं को मिटा दिया वो ओर कोई नही मेरे देश का किसान है !!
आज हम ऐसे एक किसान के बारे में बताने जा रहे हैं जिन्होंने नए नए खेती के तरीकों को आजमाकर आज बाकी किसानों के लिए प्रेरणा बन चुके हैं। उनका नाम है- विजय गिरी।

कौन हैं विजय –

विजय बिहार के पश्चमी चम्पारण के हरपुर गांव के निवासी हैं। कई वर्षों से वो खेती में कुछ न कुछ बदलाव करते आ रहे हैं। सबसे पहले तो उन्होंने खेती में प्रयोग होने वाले केमिकल्स का त्याग किया और जैविक खेती की ओर बढ़ें। विजय खेती तो करते ही हैं लेकिन साथ साथ बागवानी भी करते हैं।

पढ़ाई छोड़, शुरू किया पुश्तैनी ज़मीन पर खेती-

आजकल विजय अपने इस मैजिकल धान के लिए बहुत चर्चा में हैं। दरअसल उन्हें दसवीं के बाद पढ़ाई छोड़नी पड़ी, और पुस्तैनी ज़मीन पर खेती शुरू करना पड़ा।उनके पास कुल 12 एकड़ की ज़मीन थी जिसपर उन्होंने परम्परागत तरीके से धान, गेहूं, दलहन आदि की खेती शुरू की।

देश भर के कृषि मेलों में होते हैं उपस्थित, वैज्ञानिको से लेते हैं सुझाव-

विजय को यात्रा करने का बहुत शौक है , और खासकर उस जगह पर जहां कृषि मेला लगता हो। वो बताते हैं कि जब आप देश के अलग अलग हिस्सों में जाते हैं, वहाँ के कृषि मेले में भाग लेते हैं तो आपको बहुत कुछ सीखने को मिलता है। बहुत से वैज्ञानिक वहा आते हैं, आपको नए सुझाव देते हैं जो आपकी ज़िंदगी मे एक बड़ा बदलाव ला सकता है।

काले, धान, काले गेंहू और मैजिकल धान की खेती शुरू की-

कृषि विषय पर ही आयोजित कार्यक्रम में विजय ने मोहाली के काले गेहूं के बारे में जाना। फिर उन्हें पश्चिम बंगाल के काले धान के बारे में मालूम हुआ। उन्होंने सोचा क्यों न इसे अपने खेत मे भी उगाया जाए। फिर क्या था, उन्होंने ट्रायल किया और अबतक वो तीन बार काले धान, काले गेहूँ, और मैजिकल धान अपने खेत मे उगा चुके हैं। अब विजय बाकी किसानों को भी इसके प्रति जागरूक कर रहे हैं।

विजय ने खेती ट्रेंड को बताया कि , “गेहूँ की इस नए किस्म को पंजाब के मोहाली स्थित नेशनल एग्रीफूड बायोटेक्नोलॉजी इंस्टीट्यूट (नाबी) ने विकसित किया है। और बात करें इसके नाम की तो ,नाबी एमजी और नाबी के पास इसका पेटेंट भी है। जब काले गेहूं में एंथोसाएनिन नाम के पिगमेंट होते हैं। एंथोसाएनिन की अधिक मात्रा में होने के कारण ही फलों, सब्जियों, अनाजों का रंग काला, बैंगनी या नीला हो जाता है।”

एंथोसायनिन है गुणकारी-

एंथोसायनिन की बात करे तो ये नेचुरल एंटीऑक्सीडेंट का काम करता है। और यर सेहत के लिए भी बहुत लाभदायक होता है।
आम गेहूँ मे ये एंथोसाएनिन महज पाँच पीपीएम होता है, लेकिन बात यदि काले गेहूँ की हो तो, यह 100 से 140 पीपीएम के करीब मौजूद होता है। इसमे आयरन भी आपको प्रचुर मात्रा में मिलेगा। काले गेहूँ में आम गेहूँ की तुलना में 60 फीसदी आयरन अधिक आप पा सकते हैं।

काले चावल की भी हो रही है उपज-

विजय ने बताया कि काले चावल की खेती मणिपुर में बहुत मशहूर है। इसके एंथोसायनिन की मात्रा तो खूब होती है। और यही नही, इसमे कार्बोहाइड्रेट की मात्रा कम होने के कारण ये शुगर के मरीजों के लिए वरदान होता है। औषधि गुणों के कारण इसकी बाजार में बहुत मांग है।

छोटे ज़मीन से शुरुआत करने का देते हैं सुझाव-

विजय बताते हैं कि आमतौर पर किसानों को भय रहता है कि यदि ये उनके ज़मीन पे नही हुआ तो क्या होगा। खुद विजय ने इसे पहले अपने एक एकड़ की ज़मीन पर ही लगाया। जब सफल हुए तो अब 2 एकड़ में करते हैं खेती। वो बताते हैं कि आप इसकी बुआई 15 नवंबर से कर सकते हैं। बिल्कुल सामान्य गेहूं की तरह आप इसकी खेती करें, और इसे तैयार होने में लगभग 150 दिन लग ही जाता है।

मैजिक धान की खेती-

काले गेंहू के अलावा वो मैजिक धान  (Boka Saul) की खेती भी कर रहे हैं। असम में इस चावल की लोकप्रियता बहुत है और इसे वहा तो GI Tag भी मिल चुका है। सबसे बड़ी खासियत इसकी ये है कि इसको बनाने के लिए आपको गैस की जरूरत नही पड़ेगी, यदि आप इसे पानी मे 50 मिनट के करीब छोड़ देंगे तो ये खाने लायक हो जाता है। खाने में आपको ये सामान्य चावल की तरह ही लगेगा।
इसकी बुआई आप आराम से 15 मई से कर सकते हैं, और ये 140 दिनों में बिल्कुल तैयार हो जाता है।

शुरू में हुई घबराहट लेकिन फिर सफलता मिलती चली गयी-

विजय बताते हैं कि शुरू में उनके मन मे भी प्रश्न उठते थे कि क्या वो सफल हो पाएंगे या फिर नही, लेकिन समय के साथ सब सही होता चला गया और सफलता मिलती चली गयी। आज वो बहुत से लोगो से अपनी तकनीकी को साझा करते हैं और उन्हें प्रेरित करते हैं कि वो भी दुनिया देखे, समझे और आगे बढ़ें।
