अक्कोली गांव में चुरुली की आदिवासी बस्ती का घर है। यहां के घर सूखे मिट्टी और ईंट-टाइल से बने हुए है, तो वही छत प्लास्टिक की चादरों से ढके हुए।

हाल ही में आए एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार एक विधवा अपने तीन बच्चों की देखभाल कर रही थी। यहां की हालत ऐसी थी कि पानी तक पहुंच के लिए भी संघर्ष करना पड़ता था। उन्हें हर रोज़ जंगली जानवरों के बीच से एक किलोमीटर पैदल चल कर जंगल के माध्यम से पानी लाना पड़ता था। ऐसे में उन्हें अपने बच्चों को घर पर अकेला छोड़कर जाना पड़ता था।
ग्रामीण कुआं खोदने के लिए हुए एकजुट

रंग लाई ग्रामीणों की मेहनत

गूंज की ‘डिग्निटी फॉर वर्क’ पहल से प्रेरित होकर गांव के लोगों ने काम शुरू किया। छोटे से गड्ढे से मिट्टी का पानी साफ किया गया उसके बाद उसे और गहरा खोदा गया। दो गड्ढ़े और कीचड़ को साफ करने के लिए गड्ढे में उतरे; महिलाओं ने मलबे को जलाशय से यथासंभव दूर ले जाने के लिए एक मानव श्रृंखला बनाई।
किए कई चट्टानों को इकट्ठा
कुछ अन्य लोग गड्ढे की संरचना बनाने के लिए चट्टानों को इकट्ठा करने गए। इस पूरी गतिविधि में एक सामान्य उद्देश्य के लिए अलग-अलग लोगों को एक साथ लाया गया।
