अगर हम देखें तो हर किसान परिवार अपने बच्चे के लिए यही सोचता है कि उनके बच्चे पढ़ लिखकर अच्छी जॉब करें, ना कि किसान बने।
मास्टर्स के बावजूद भी खेती
आपको बता दें कि एक ऐसे ही कहानी बनारस के रहने वाले विशाल सिंह की है, जिन्होंने ITI से मास्टर्स की डिग्री हासिल करने के बावजूद खेती बाड़ी करने का रास्ता चुना। अब तक करीब 35 हजार किसानों की जिंदगी पूरी तरह से बदल चुके हैं।
खुद किसान परिवार से रखते हैं ताल्लुक
विशाल सिंह (Vishal Singh) एक किसान परिवार से ताल्लुक रखते है। उनके परिवार में शुरु से ही लोग खेती-बाड़ी करते आ रहे हैं। यहां कमाई का जरिया भी खेती-बाड़ी ही थी। शुरू से ही विशाल की ख्वाहिश थी कि वह आईआईटी (IIT) की पढ़ाई करे।
आर्थिक स्थिति नहीं थी अच्छी
इसके लिए उन्होंने 12वीं के समय दो बार कोशिश भी की परंतु कामयाब नहीं हो सके। उनके घर की आर्थिक स्थिति भी उतनी अच्छी नहीं थी इसलिए उन्होंने बिना समय गंवाए IIT किए बिना ही किसी और कॉलेज में एग्रीकल्चर इंजीनियरिंग (Agriculture Engineering) में दाखिला लेकर तैयारियां शुरू कर दी।
आईआईटी (IIT) करने का था सपना
विशाल ग्रेजुएशन तो कर रहे थे पर उनके मन से IIT करने का विचार जा ही नही रहा था। इसके बाद उन्होंने अपने मन में बैठा लिया की वे अपनी मास्टर्स की पढ़ाई IIT से ही करेंगे।
गेट की शुरू की तैयारी
यही सोच के साथ उन्होंने ग्रेजुएशन के पहले ही वर्ष से गेट (GATE) की तैयारियां आरंभ कर दिया। दिन-रात मेहनत करने के बाद उन्होने पहली बार में ही गेट की परीक्षा पास कर ली। उन्होंने काफी अच्छा रैंक हासिल किया था और इसी की वजह से इन्हें खड़गपुर में IIT करने के लिए दाखिला भी मिल गया। IIT के दौरान इन्होंने फूड प्रोसेसिंग की पढ़ाई करने का विचार किया।
गरीब किसानों के मदद करने का सोचा
विशाल को अपनी पढ़ाई के दौरान खेती-बाड़ी करने के बारे में बहुत कुछ जानकारियां प्राप्त हुई। खेती के बारे में उन्होंने सोचा कि अगर वे दूसरे किसानों को खेती के बारे में यही जानकारियां दे तो भी खेती-बाड़ी करके अच्छा मुनाफा कमा सकते है। इसी के लिए वे अपनी पढ़ाई के साथ ही साथ खड़गपुर के नजदीकी आदिवासी क्षेत्र में जाते रहते थे।
किसानों की हालात नहीं थी अच्छी
आदिवासी किसानों का हालात (financial condition) विशाल देखकर विशाल को बहुत दुःख हुआ था इसलिए उन्होंने साल 2013 में अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद नाैकरी नहीं किए, बल्कि गरीब किसानों की मदद करने का विचार किया।
घर संभालने के लिए की नौकरी
विशाल ने किसानों की मदद करने का विचार तो कर लिया परंतु इनके घर की आर्थिक स्थिति को भी देखना था। अपने घर को संभाले के लिए उन्हें मजबूरन नौकरी करनी पड़ी। उन्होंने राइसमील में जॉब करनी शुरू कर दी।
जॉब के साथ ही साथ किसानों का भी करते थे मदद
अपनी नौकरी में व्यस्त रहने के कारण विशाल किसानों के लिए उतना समय नही निकाल पाते थे पर कभी-कभी समय निकालकर उनके पास चले जाते थे। किसानों से मिलकर उन्हें खेती बाड़ी के बारे में टिप्स देते थे ताकि वह अच्छे तरीके से खेती कर अपना परिवार अच्छे से चला सके।
कॉलेज में मिला प्रोफेसर का रूतबा
साल 2014 उनका जॉब ओडिशा के एक कॉलेज में बतौर असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर के रुप में कार्य करने का मौका मिला। प्रोफेसर के रुप में कार्य करते हुए उन्हें आदिवासी किसानों की भी सहायता करने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ।
कॉलेज के बाद देते थे ट्रेनिंग
कॉलेज में प्रोफेसर के रूप में कार्यरत करते हुए विशाल ने किसानों को खेती की ट्रेनिंग देने लगे। उसके बाद कॉलेज द्वारा मेले एनएसडीसी (NSDC) के एक प्रोजेक्ट के तहत उन्हें कुछ बिछड़े हुए गावों को smart village के रूप में तब्दील करना था। इस प्रोजेक्ट को पूरा करने के लिए उन्हें कॉलेज से ज्यादा समय गांव वालों के साथ बिताने का मौका मिला।
गांव की बदल दी तस्वीर
किसानों को ट्रेनिंग देने के दौरान विशाल ने आदिवासी गांव की तस्वीर ही बदल दी। उन्होंने गांव में तालाब का निर्माण किए, सोलर सिस्टम लगवाएं, गोबर गैस का प्लांट लगवाएं और साथ इंटीग्रेटेड फार्मिंग मॉडल पर भी कार्य आरम्भ किया।
किसान कमाने लगे अच्छा मुनाफा
प्रत्येक आदिवासी किसान परिवार से मिलकर उन्हें खेती बाड़ी के बारे जानकारियां देते थे। इतना ही नही इन्हें मार्केटिंग के लिए भी प्रोत्साहित करते थे। उन्होंने किसानों की मदद करने के लिए दिन रात एक कर दी थी और इसका परिणाम भी उन्हें दिखने लगा। अब गरीब किसान भी खेती बाड़ी करके अच्छा मुनाफा कमाने लगे थे।
नौकरी से दिए इस्तीफा
विशाल ने अपने सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए साल 2016 में उन्होंने अपने जॉब छोड़ दिए। कुछ दिनों बाद उन्होंने अपने दो दोस्तों के साथ मिलकर गांव की तरक्की के लिए ग्राम समृद्धि नाम से एक ट्रस्ट की स्थापना की, जिसमें उन्होंने आहार मंडल नाम से एक प्रोजेक्ट भी लॉन्च किया और लोगों को इसकी जानकारियां देना आरंभ कर दिया।
होने लगी खूब तारीफ
कुछ ही दिनों बाद विशाल की बहुत अधिक तारीफे होने लगी। इनके किए गए कामों के बारे में न्यूजपेपर में भी छपने लगी। इसके बाद ONGC की तरफ से 10 गावों को smart village बनाने के लिए प्रोजेक्ट मिला। उन्होंने अपनी मेहनत से मात्र एक साल के अंदर ही 10 गावों को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने में कामयाब हो गए।
लगभग 35 हजार किसानों की जिंदगी में लाए सुधार
विशाल अपनी जर्नी में क़रीब 35 हजार किसानों की जीवन में सुधार लाने की कोशिश कर रहे है। इतना ही नहीं वह कई छात्रों को भी खेती के बारे जानकारियां देते है।
फैलाई लोगों में जागरूकता
इसके साथ गरीब परिवार और शिक्षा से वंचित बच्चों के मन में पढ़ाई के प्रति जागरूकता फैला रहे हैं और खुद भी उन्हें शिक्षित करते हैं। फिलहाल इनके साथ करीब 33 लोग कार्य करते है और करीब 400 लोग वॉलिंटियर्स के रुप में जुड़े हुए हैं।
आदिवासियों के जीवन में आया बदलाव
आदिवासियों के जीवन में सुधार लाने वाले विशाल की लोग काफी तारीफ कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने अपनी अच्छी सोच के कारण ऐसे इंसानों के जीवन में सुधार लाए जिनके पास खेत होने के बावजूद भी वह खेती बाड़ी से काफी दूर थे।
आदिवासियों को दी नई तकनीक
विशाल ने आदिवासियों को इंटीग्रेटेड फार्मिंग मॉडल के बारे में बताया। उन्होंने मछली पालन के लिए तालाब का निर्माण करवाए और साथ ही नारियल का प्रोसेसिंग सिखाया। इसके अलावा महिलाओं एवं लड़कियों को भी रोजगार दिया।
कुछ ही सालों में आदिवासी परिवार वर्ष में करीब 2 से 3 लाख रुपए कमा रहे हैं। साथ ही इनके बच्चे भी पढ़ाई के प्रति जागरूक है।
