राजधानी दिल्ली के रायसीना क्षेत्र में स्थित भारत का संसद भवन (Parliament) ऐतिहासिक धरोहर के साथ-साथ देश के आलिशान भवन भी है। इसका निर्माण 1927 में हुआ था और आज इतने वर्ष बाद भी संसद भवन का इमारत भारतीय वास्तुकला का बेजोड़ नमुना है।
भारत (India) के संसद भवन (Parliament) के इमारत को देखने के लिए भारतीय ही नहीं बल्कि विदेशी पर्यटक भी आते हैं। इस भवन की एक विशेषता यह भी है कि सदन के दोनों सदन लोकसभा और राज्यसभा भी मौजूद हैं। इसी कड़ी में आज हम आपको पार्लियामेंट के सेंट्रल हॉल से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी और दिलचस्प बातें बताने जा रहें हैं, जिसे बहुत कम लोग ही जानते हैं।
संसद भवन में लगे हैं उल्टे पंखे
अक्सर हम अपने घरों या ऑफिस में देखते हैं कि पंखे छत से नीचे की ओर लटके होते हैं लेकिन भारत के संसद भवन में ऐसा नहीं है। जी हां, संसद भवन में पंखे उल्टे लटके हुए हैं। यदि संसद भवन (Parliament) के सेंट्रल हॉल की किसी तस्वीर को आप ध्यान से देखेंगें तो पाएंगे कि वहां के सभी पंखें जमीन पर खंबे के सहारे उलटे लगाए गए हैं।
पार्लियामेंट के सेंट्रल हॉल में उल्टे पंखे लगाने के पीछे की वजह
दरअसल, ऐसा करने के पीछे का कारण संसद भवन का आर्किटेक्चर है। इतिहासकारों के अनुसार, जब संसद भवन का निर्माण हुआ था तब इसके गुम्बद को ही इसकी असली पहचान बताया गया था। ये गुम्बद काफी उंचाई पर बने हैं। इसलिए सीलिंग उंचीं की वजह से वहां पंखे नहीं लगाए जा सकते थे। पंखे को लंबे डंडे के सहारे लगाने पर पार्लियामेंट की खुबसूरती पर बुरा प्रभाव पड़ रहा था। इसलिए पंखो को खंबो के सहारे भूमि पर लगाने का निर्णय किया गया।
पार्लियामेंट को गुम्बदनुमा बनाने के पीछे का कारण
बता दें कि भारत के संसद भवन का निर्माण एक मंदिर के तर्ज पर हुआ है, जिसका नाम चौसठ योगिनी मंदिर है। भारत में कुल 4 चौसठ योगिनी मंदिर है, जिसमें से मध्यप्रदेश में 2 है और दो ओड़िशा में है। मध्यप्रदेश के मुरैना में सन 1323 ई. में वृतीय आधार पर बना यह मंदिर सबसे प्राचीन और मुख्य मंदिर माना जाता है। साथ ही यह मंदिर अपनी बेहतरीन वास्तुकला और भव्य निर्माण के लिए जाना जाता है। इस मंदिर में 64 कमरे हैं और हर कमरे में एक-एक शिवलिंग स्थापित है। इसके अलावा यहां पहुंचने के लिए 200 सीढियां की चढ़ाई करनी पड़ती है।
101 खंबों पर टिका है भारत का संसद भवन
मध्यप्रदेश में स्थित इसी चौसठ योगिनी मंदिर को आधार मानकर ब्रिटिश आर्किटेक्ट सर एडविन लुटियंस और सर हर्बर्ट बेकर ने पार्लियामेंट (Parliament) को बनवाया था। मंदिर के वृतीय आधार के भांति ही संसद भवन 101 खंबो पर टिका है। पार्लियामेंट में 101 स्तम्भ भी हैं जिनका निर्माण बलुई पत्थर से हुआ है और सभी स्तम्भों की उंचाई 27 फुट है।
गुम्बद है संसद भवन का मुख्य आकर्षक
भारत का पार्लियामेंट लगभग 6 एकड़ में फैला है। संसद भवन में कुल 12 द्वार हैं जिनमें से संसद मार्ग पर स्थित द्वार संख्या 1 मुख्य द्वार है। बता दें कि भारत के संसद भवन का मुख्य आकर्षक उसका गुम्बद है।
संसद भवन के निर्माण में लगा था 6 वर्षों का समय
बता दें कि भारतीय संसद भवन के नक्शे को दो फेमस आर्किटेक्ट सर एडविन लुटियंस और सर हर्बर्ट बेकर ने तैयार किया था और इसकी नींव 12 फरवरी 1921 को ड्यूक ऑफ़ कनाट द्वारा रखी गई थी। संसद भवन के निर्माण में 6 वर्ष का समय लगा था और इसका उद्घाटन समारोह 18 जनवरी 1927 को भारत के तत्कालीन गवर्नर जनरल लॉर्ड इरविन ने किया था।
विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार संसद भवन में लगे पंखे आरंभ से ही उल्टे लगे हुए हैं। संसद भवन की एतिहासिकता बरकरार रहे इसलिए इसमे कोई छेड़-छाड़ नहीं की गई। यही वजह है संसद भवन आज भी वैसा ही है जैसे पहले था।
